FF9 fans rejoice, coming soon to the PSN

Well it's been a rather slow day at work here so I've been surfing the net all morning. I stopped by IGN as usual and what do I find?

Lo0ks like FF9, a cult favorite for many, may be hitting the PSN soon. Who else is excited? I certainly am seeing as I never did get to finish 9 and seeing as the game was more of a quirky return to it's roots so I was a little intrigued. Oh sure I could emulate it like I did last time, but hey I'm willing to pay 10 bucks to play and finish this one.

I don't think this has hit the news section of the escapist just yet so I just wanted to give a heads up to all the fans out there who have been eagerly awaiting 9.

IX Is my favorite in the series. I play it two or three times every year. Those who have never played it definitely should.

I assume you don't live in North America then, because those games have been on the PSn for a while. Sure sucks how the store isn't standardized accross the board.

I too would love to played FF4 and 6 on my PSP, maybe it will come a few months after this is a trend is to be seen. Hell maybe Chrono Trigger too, god I'd love that.

9 is in my top 5 games of all time. I'm not gonna buy it cos my disc version is in good condition and I love it, but still good news for my fellow FFIX fans!

I believe those were released on the SNES, so I doubt that will happen.

OT: Good. I haven't had much of a chance to play IX, but I remember enjoying it. I look forward to it.

Lovin' it.

I really love the ability to play a game on my PSP and the PS3 - just move the save game back and forth. That way you can play the game at home or on the move.

Still have my good old PS1 copy, but this is good. It'll be a great chance for those that didn't get to play it.
