Conan the Barbarian.

Despite being the codifier of the Barbarian Hero archetype, Conan is actually almost nothing like an actual barbarian. He's well read, intelligent, and doesn't just limit himself to straight up brute force. That, and I need to look like him for a costume.

Myself.

Yes, that's right. I am a fictional character whom I personally aspire to be like, even though I don't exist.

Optimus Prime. Strong, courageous, does the right thing, inspires friendship and loyalty.

Also Kamina, got ninja'd there.

Tyrion Lannister. Has a wicked wit, survives (one might almost say prospers) some fairly awful situations, good at both lying and telling the truth, and has a wonderfully perverse confidence.

"You reap what you sow; force answers force, war breeds war, and death only brings death. To break this vicious circle one must do more than act without any thought or doubt."
Philosophy up in here, yo.

For me it's always been Ryu from Street Fighter II. He is the embodiment of ambition, determination, and an iron will to never give up. He's been my idol for years.

Uzamaki Naruto would be no. 2. This kid is just really something.

Jean Luc Picard, avoiding conflict not just punching people down for not agreeing with you. That and anyone who can win a battle or a fight without umm, fighting.
