Yea, they have always had a problem with animations, but what surprised me was that MKX looked a lot smoother than previous games. I think it has to do with how their combo system works.

I think the variations will be a good addition. Like what was shown in the video, it completely turned the match around. It just becomes another layer of strategy and mind games.

You could probably argue that for every fighting game. I see a lot of strategy in MKX. When to use meter, when to use stamina, when to do this, do that, use a set up, play mind games, etc.

I wasn't expecting playing online anytime soon, but I expected to be able to play the damn thing.
This "pre-download stream" sounds alright in theory, but proved to be bullshit.

I always loathed the MK franchise pre MK9. It was only until MK9 that the series seemed to finally create fighting mechanics with depth. Every previous MK game sold itself on shock value and gore alone. It's main selling point, Fatalities, are completely useless as a fighting mechanic.
