Looks like Dreiko already mentioned it but DBFZ is up for everyone now at least in EU regions (guess its the same everywhere). Seems pretty fun although ive only done the tutorials definitely having more fun with it than I did MVCI (really did not like that game unfortunately). You can only play a few characters but with first impressions I like the balance of depth and accessibility at least it feels good so far.

Also anyone heard about BB cross tag battle? 20 DLC characters which is literally the same as the included roster and Blake from RWBY (and by extension I assume Yang) is one of them. I mean damn I hope the game is budgeted accordingly or they better make way for some well deserved crap coming their way. Shame as I was actually looking forward to that game I mean Makoto, Chie, Ruby and Blake are characters I really like.

Sounds like SC6 will have some reveals at EVO Japan where its got a demo so should know more on that by the end of the month.

Man, as much as i want to like DBFZ, the roster is very disappointing. I know they may not have a lot to work with, but it feels like half the roster is Goku or some variation of goku.The lack of female characters is appauling.

Just 2 versions of goku in the roster (black is just Zamasu in Goku's body and plays very differently), it's much less than other games in the franchise.

I didn't mean literally.i meant visually. Goku, gohan, adult gohan, vegeta, goku black,SSBgoku, ssbvegeta, trucks,etc...It's just not vasually interesting.

It's like if SF had like 10 variations of Ryu and Ken.

they do have to work with xx characters available in the show. sometimes characters play completely different regardless, so it doesnt matter.

eg, izayoi, tsubaki. and noel, mu12 are technically the same characters story wise. though in game, theres no similarities, so it doesn't really matter.

I predict kale/califa in upgrades that are bound to come with this game's success.

Just incase people dont know DBFighters Z is out now and apparently is doing well in regards to concurrent users on steam especially for a fighter so hopefully it does well on consoles and gets others to up their game to compete. Dissidia NT is out on the 30th in the west which is one I will be focusing on (annoying they are so close together).

Also Evo Japan is on atm some finals have already been but the last day of it is tommorow on the 28th. Havent seen all of it by a long shot but definitely already much better than the last 2 EVOs in america for me.

I mean, how can I get a proper salt engine going if I can't fill my team out with ladies?

I like Toriyama in general and Dragonball, but a fighting game roster really highlights some of their flaws. Hopefully, BandNam will get right on making some of the Tournament fighters as DLC.

And while I'm wishing for ponies, I want a short-haired Krillin model.

You can have Android 18 and Android 21 but yeah thats about it. Maybe in the DLC we will get some more but we will see. Personally I am really hoping for ChiChi but I feel its unlikely even if she was in Super Dragon Ball Z on the PS2 (and fairly fun to boot). Bulma, Videl and Launch could be fun in their own way but feel they may add some of the females from Super if they add any (I dont know their names as I only say 1 episode on Japanese TV but one looked like a berserker Saiyan).

I just hope its not more versions of Goku/Vegeta/Gohan etc even if I do like those characters.

Also wanna see master Roshi but again not holding my breath depends on how much they wanna bend the plausibility of characters beating others I suppose. I know its already pretty curved but maybe Launch beating Beerus would be to much for some (even if it is just a video game), not me though now bring on ChiChi.

If this does well I am excited for what may come in the future. Giving One Piece the same treatment would be amazing.
