My money's on Goku.

I don't get how that would even be competition since Gokus presence shook planets who's every attack could blow a planet up. Superman can ...do what? I've seen his biggest fights and DBZ is just in another league.

Exactly, I mean it gets to a point where a saiyan sneeze could probably wipe out an entire planet. In the first saga Vegeta even states that his beam could take Goku and the planet with it and that's before the term 'Super Saiyan' is even mentioned. It's not just me this is like a huge debate on the internet. Still, since he can't survive in space Goku would be killing himself too. He could blow the planet up and transmit away, but with all his skills I doubt he'd have to resort to that.

There's a reason i'd pick Goku as a favorite to win almost any fight which is that he's one of the few characters who views the moral high ground as a critical tactical advantage. =D

I've seen the debates, it doesn't work haha. DBZ are on their own level as is superman, it's just not compatible.
