The Harry Potter series. Not because they're bad, per-say. But after reading the books (yes, I am aware of they didn't exactly match!) and seeing them more than once they make great background noise.

I use the Invader Zim series for that too, but have to be careful how long I let it go or I start to talk kinda' funny from too much exposure.
