Armitage III (an anime) made me tear up for the first time during a film. Naomi discovered she could never be human, and something deep inside me thought 'that's simply not fair.'

The second time was at the end of American History X. The younger brother decides to turn his life around only to succumb to a bullet in the lavatory. Defenses could not have been any lower outside of sleep.

Granted I never full-fledged cried, just had my vision become highly blurred...

Big Fish, Toy Story 3 and that f*cking dog episode of Futurama. You know which one I am talking about!

EDIT: Oh yeah and Up. And for the record, any tears I shed are very manly tears. They are manly they smell of Old Spice and taste like steak.

I rarely ever get attached to movies well enough to cry, but there are a couple that got a bit close to at least give me a bit choked up, mainly The Lion King and The Plague Dogs. It was the second one that caught me more off guard though as I had read the book before it and knew how the story ended, though that might had helped too since the movie forgets to set up a few things that the book filled in.

The last movie I really remember crying at was Dead Poets Society. although as someone else mentioned, as I have gotten older, I definitely get teary eyed much more often than my younger days.

The killing Fields, which I saw last night, really made me cry. It's really beautiful the friendship the guys hold, and the ending is just so emotional. It's awesome for anybody who hasn't seen it.

Bridge to Terabithia got me bad. Also, not really a movie, but I just watched Clannad the whole way through and I was in tears every 4-5 episodes. Honestly, if anyone can watch both seasons without crying I am convinced that you have no soul.

The opening sequence to Up gets me every time. I've never seen such an effective combination of music and animation to convey the emotion of the various moments in that sequence, and all without any voice acting at all.

I was also shown two movies in school about the aftermath of nuclear war. When the Wind Blows is beautiful, touching and sad.. and made me, and many others in my class, cry.

The other was called Threads, which frankly made is cry in distress.

Toy Story 3 nearly brought me to tears several times. The supposed comedy 'The Sixth Man' definitely made me cry , though I was eight or nine at the time. And every time that I watch Moon Child I have to fight to keep from crying.
