The Last Airbender, I what waste of time and money. I waited to see at the local $2 movie theater and I wanted my money and time back. I couldn't believe how much that movie sucked. It also ruined my love for the cartoon series. I will admit the visual were pretty, but the acting and dialogue made me so mad, I was screaming at the screen. I was yelling so much I was some kids cry because I was scaring them. I hate that movie. I pray that M. Knight does not write or direct the next. The Eragon movie was a better made movie and that's not much better.

Matrix: reloaded and Matrix Revolution. and Electra Assassin. Oh, and that shitty Justin Timberlake move where everyone pays with time to stay young. AUGH

aside from those, Most Romantic Comedies, and most movies starring Martin Lawrence.

the regrettable movies list is probably longer than most people recall, if only we have trained ourselves to try to forget shitty movies. Or at least I have.

Oh yeah, that shitty Dungeons and Dragons movie too.

Well that would defiantly be the 18 year old virgin the Asylum's take on the teen sex comedy. It was so bad it made me cry. Keep in mind I love traditionaly god awful movies they bring me a perverse joy at the horribleness. 18 year old virgin had to be the worst thing I've ever watched, I love Human Centipede but this movie was just wrong and vomit inducing avoid 18 year old virgin

I would say the Avatar movie by M. Night, but I got to watch it as the Nostalgia Critic and a few other guys tore it apart MST3K style at Youmacon, turning it from one of the worst movies ever into one of the funniest times of my life.

Norbit, god why did i go see it? It was terrible, horrible....oh god why?

Spy Kids, i started to feel a little weird watching it, though i really only went to see it because i thought Antonio Banderas was cool in the Mask of Zorro.

i will admit that is when my movie preferences decided to grow the fuck up. I don't regret seeing much, i don't regret watching the first two transformers movies, and i don't regret watching 2012 (how can you not love a movie where they theorize that mutated neutrinos from the sun are melting the core? Science softer than melted butter and well worth a watch with friends if you need a decently made movie to laugh at)

most of the movies i regret watching were shitty kids movies that i remember every now and then, which make me groan and think "I Can't believe i liked that shit"

Due Date

The only movie I've ever walked out on. Hate, hate, hated that pile of crap.
Oh...THAT fucking movie. Goddamn, my skin crawled the instant I saw that image.
The tagline for that atrocity should have been: "Abandon all notion of humor and comedy, all ye who enter here."

That movie is evil and very manipulative. It has one, and only one good scene in it. Notable for being by far, the biggest, longest most vulgar and cathartic scene between two characters I have ever seen.

And the film should have ended right there...nope. It's plopped right in the middle of the film.

ON TOPIC: Outside of a theater...well lets just say that there are many movies that I regret seeing, but that's because every year the weekend before St Patrick's Day, my friends have this little game.
It's where we go out, and look for the absolute worst films we can inflict on each other, draw lots, and watch those that come up. Then we critique them and riff on them.
(There are restrictions; the movie has to be somewhat recent, made within the last 10 years. And they cannot be children's films.)

And one of the worst films I've seen to date was this years' "winner" (it features Terra Reed; be afraid).
It's called "Incubus", it's a film whose plot is driven entirely by raw human idiocy and I don't think it was done with the intention of being ironic.

Geez, thank you. I was beginning to think I was the only sane person left on the planet. For some reason, everyone I talk to about that movie thought it was good.

I mean, I can understand differing opinions and all, but THAT many people LIKED Due Date?

honestly, I find stupid kids films to be worse then overtop gorefests. Thence why I've personally vowed to strangle the asshole who unleashed "What About Bob" upon a world that deserved no such treatment

Although, on reflection, there was also borat. By god, the guy just went all out to make the world uncomfortable, and succeeded spectacularly

Some sort of indian burial ground esque movie, where father takes his dead son's body (age 5 or something) and buries it there thinking it will bring him back to life. Instead the kid is alive, but body is controlled by some sort of demon. Demon tries to kill father, father is forced to kill son by burning the body along with his house.

I cried.
Sounds like Pet Semetary?

You want to know a bad movie? I remember this one movie called November. You couldn't understand what was going on in that movie if you tried

Hrm, that award should probably go to "Human Centipede".

I only watched it because of all the commotion on the web. To my non-surprise, it turned out to be poorly veiled dungeon/scat porn.

Napoleon Dynamite. As aptly put by the only review about it I remember, it felt like they were trying to market the film to a group they spent most of their time mocking. For a more personal (and possibly overanalytical) reaction: it felt like they were trying to model the main cast off of Willy Loman (Death of a Salesman), but couldn't understand what made Willy work as a character. They just spent so much time hammering into our heads that the main characters were just below mediocre. It was as if the directers looked at Miller's production and came to the conclusion that an inconsequential nature alone is enough to make a compelling tale, and decided to make a movie around that concept. The result was a half-baked film that made a point of mocking the characters without any actual motive for doing so other than a cheap laugh, compounded by a weak narrative lacking even an arching theme.[footnote]This paragraph has since been edited to [hopefully] better reflect my intended meaning, but as I've gotten several responses about this part of the post thus far, allow me to further clarify: No, I am not comparing Napoleon Dynamite to Death of a Salesman as distinct entitites. My intent was to say that it felt that the former was trying to be the latter and failed spectacularly due to its inability to understand why Miller's play worked in the first place. Comparing the two on their own merits would be as pointless an endeavor as comparing Titanic the Legend Goes On to James Cameron's Titanic or the Last Airbender to the show from which it got its name. The only grounds for any of these, as far as I'm concerned is to point out the common source material and the failure of one to capture the essence it needed to make its material work.[/footnote]
It really was a love it or hate it kind of movie. I loved it. I am worried they want us to laugh at people with obvious limitations, but I think they don't. They want us to cheer. And we do. And we laugh at ourselves as well. I want a time machine that works too, dang it!

It makes 1 out of 5 of my favorite comedies since the 00s.

Eraserhead.

I am traumatized for life now.
Haha that movie still confuses me to this day :\

Not going to read all 15 pages buuuut inb4 "Sucker punch, bob recommended it and it sucked hurr durr I liek pie". I fucking loved Sucker Punch.

Anyways, the Twilight movies with my girlfriend. Holyshit those movies are bad. I didn't enjoy the Lovely Bones cause I felt so uncomfortable for the entire thing. It's a good movie but ugh I wanted to rip that guy to shreds.

edit: oh my goodness. How could I forget the Eragon movie? That movie hurt my soul. I fucking loved the books and when I saw that steaming pile of shit I had to force myself to sit and watch it till to end to try and find something, ANYTHING to like... never happened. Somebody gave me the movie as a gift and when they went home I broke that shit in half threw it in a fire.

I'd have to go with Valhalla Rising. I thought I was going to be watching Mads Mikkelsen as a badass Viking, taking down his enemies in a brutal fashion. Instead, I got quite the possibly the slowest paced movie in the history of cinema. There's only so much watching Mads's one-eyed face as he silently stares off in the distance that I can take.

To the end? Probably none by choice. I've been dragged to movies by family/friends/girlfriends, such as Justin Bieber's movie. Terrible experience.

Though I started watching Gamer the other day because I had wanted to watch it for a while. About 30 minutes in I thought "What the fuck am I watching? Why do I need to be reminded about how female avatars are usually guys? I don't need this noir lighting and weird conversations to understand this famous point." I almost threw up at that point.

Terrible movie.
