Kind of...anticlimactic. I mean, Thief and either Dead Space 1 or 2 look somewhat enticing, but they don't really compare (correct me if I am wrong) to what has been offered during the past few days (i.e. Mass Effect 2, Limbo, FO:NV, etc.). Is there anything really worth getting today amongst the featured items?

For more general discussion:

Were you able to pick up anything of interest during this year's autumn sale?
What is still sitting in your library unplayed from previous sales?
Do you have a balance left for the winter sale?

Captcha: Transactions fcativ

...it's on to me.

Oh, and in case you don't have it bookmarked: Steam [http://store.steampowered.com/]

I wanted to buy mass effect 1 + 2 and a few other games, but I never got to it... That is something I really regret.

Hopefully, there will be a christmas sale or something similar.

I considered Mass Effect 1, but just ended up going with Mass Effect 2. I'm actually having more fun with it on PC than I did on console, which is unusual for me. Very intuitive control scheme.

Edit: There is always a winter sale.

Driver: SF seems worth it but I'd rather give Ubisoft the finger. Divinity 2 is a solid RPG if you need one for once you're done with Skyrim.

I was hoping for big things from the last day of the sale though.

What I bought in the Autumn sale:
- Hamilton's Great Adventure
- Orcs Must Die
- Trials 2
- Serious Sam HD (first and second encounters)
- The Oddbox
- Monkey Island: Special Edition Bundle

I think they were all 75% off at the time of purchase.

I picked up Serious Sam: Gold Edition to replace my torrented version, and Orcs Must Die, which is a really fun game and gets my recomendation.

I'm a liitle diassapointe with what's on offer for the last day though. I thought they were going to save the best till last (you know squeeze that extra bit of cash out of everyone), but the selection kind of meh. I was purposfully not spending too much money on stuff as well. Oh well, more moneys for me then.

Having tried the demo, I can agree that it was more fun to play on a pc, rather than a console.
60 fps FTW.

I'll try to save some cash for the winter sale, then. Maybe even buy a christmas gift to a friend.

Driver looks cool, but I generally hold off on anything that is not 75-90% off.

And same here. I thought today was going to make me regret my previous purchases.

Exactly. Dead Space? I can take it or leave it. Unless someone makes a case for it being a really great game (never really see anyone mention it), then I think I'll just save my balance for the winter sale.

Yeah, I'm surprised it runs so well on my PC, considering that it was released in 2010. Only thing I notice is that some of the textures are low-res on uniforms and what not.

Picked up the DLC for New Vegas. Apart from that I was either not interested or already owned it.

I picked up the last three Fallout New Vegas DLC packs I didn't have yet. That's about it.

Probably for the best, though. Last thing I need now is more games to play.

I thought we'd get a lot more good cheap hames, but the deals are less good than on the first few days.

Last Steam sale I got all the Valve games for £24, haven't touched a load of them. Though. I'm thinking of picking up the Bethesda pack in the Christmas sale, and also both of the Far Cry games.

I picked up Old World Blues. Didn't read very nice things about the other DLC, give or take a few dissenters.

Oddworld: Munch's Odyssey and Strangers Wrath. Both of which I've wanted for a while (already had the first 2 games).
Every piece of DLC for New Vegas, for less than the full price of 1 piece of DLC.
Safecracker, the game that makes me feel dumb.
TRAUMA, yet to play it, looks good though and it was only £1.
Section 8: Prejudice.
Breath of Death 7 and Cthulu saves the world.
Deus Ex: Human revolution.

In total I spent about £40, which is less than your average 360 game brand new.

That's why I love Steam sales. It's a Hell of lot easier to justify $2.50 than it is $60. Really, the only games I buy new anymore are Atlus games. Last game I bought new was Catherine.

Oh thank god, nothing I want, I made a promise to myself that after getting Deus Ex when it was on sale I wouldn't get anything else for the rest of the year.

Yeah, I'm simultaneously relieved and disappointed.

Meh. I've also heard mixed things, but for 75% off I figured they were probably worth it. Plus I felt like making myself even more godlike in the vanilla game with the increased level cap.

I got Mass Effect 2, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, and Terraria. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of them. I was holding out for a 75% off Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition, too bad it never happened. There's always the Christmas sale.
