Any idea on PS3 yet? It's so annoying having to change disk mid-game.
360 Dvd = 4.7 GB storage
Ps3 DVD = 25 gig storage.

If it's not single disk on the ps3 I'll be surprised.
Umm the 360 uses DL DVDs which hold 8 gigs...
I wont mind some disk swapping , if I was a fan of JRPGs that is
ok, my mistake, 3*8 Gig disks = 24Gb, still less than a bluray.

Not saying one is better than the other, just that if the 360 is shipping on 3 disks then it only makes sense for the ps3 to be on 1.

I'm not bothered by it myself, as long as it was handled the same way as 7, 8 and 9. I grew up with the Commodore 64 and used to play Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis on Amiga floppy disks.

You want annoying disk swapping? That Indiana Jones game! "Please insert disk 7. Now insert disk 5. And now disk 12. Next, disk 4. Finally, disk 2." And that's for one 5 - 10 second sequence!

Changing discs, however vexing it may be for you personally, is still miles and leagues and furlongs and astronomical units and other obscure distances ahead of that Ridiculous system they used for MGS4.

Yes! Let's re-install every chapter EVERY TIME YOU PLAY IT

Didnt FF8 have 4?
Should be good then!
FF7-9 all had 3 discs IIRC.

Been forever and a day since I played any of them though, so I could easily be wrong.
FF8 had 4 discs as did FF9.
FFVII had 3 discs, while VIII and IX had 4 discs each. You're correct T-004
