Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC Help

So I've been playing more of FFXIII-2 recently, and I've been wanting to complete the Jhil Nabaat and Lightning DLCs, because I'd much rather have them than some monsters in my party.

However, they pretty much just rape face right now, and I can't do much to them. About what chapter/what level should I try to take them on and have a chance at beating them?

Geez, don't rush to help all at once.

You can have a reasonable stab at them by about 2/3 of the way through the game, depending on how much you've levelled of course.

Honestly though, it's very difficult to "capture" the DLC characters as you have at best around a 10% chance when you beat them with a 5 Star rating, so i wouldn't worry over much about obtaining them. The game is more than beatable without.

P.s. I don't think there's many people at the escapist who play FF13-2...

after 40 hours i was maxed out stat wise and finished the game. grind away if you're not strong enough. it really doesn't take too long.

Eh, the problem with grinding is the enemies don't give shit for EXP as compared to XIII, so it takes forever and day to go even a little bit.

And all of the monsters I have now have a higher quality rating than the mats I get, so I can't even level them......
