The first... Final Fantasy?mParadox said:Wow....and that is why they should have stopped at the first one. Could have saved a lot of innocent souls from fandom.
The article says that the price recovered in the afternoon, so they're not cheaper anymore. The Rockerfly said:If anyone wants to invest in Square, now is the time to because the stocks are cheap and they will go up in the future
Depends on how much he bought them for. As far as I can tell SE stock is worth a chunk less than this time last year.Alpha1089 said:The article says that the price recovered in the afternoon, so they're not cheaper anymore. The Rockerfly said:If anyone wants to invest in Square, now is the time to because the stocks are cheap and they will go up in the future
On topic: If this really is true and all the stocks were sold by one person, than someone just made themselves a ton of money.
Ah, true that. I hadn't thought about what it would've cost to buy the stocks in the first place. The way he talked in the post he put up made it seem like he was a long-time fan, so he could've had the stocks for a while now. That would also make him a bit of a douche if it was true, seeing as how he said he loved everything the company had done, except for this one game. Not much of a fan if hating one title out of their massive list of games is enough to make you jump ship.thenumberthirteen said:Depends on how much he bought them for. It doesn't make him a douche. You don't own 1% (a large amount in large corporations) of a company because you're a "fan". You do it because you think you will make money. A $26m rage-quit is not because he's a bruised fanboy, but because he believes that the company has taken a large gamble and failed to deliver on promises.Alpha1089 said:Ah, true that.
