Goddamn you Escapist for screwing up, now I have to write this crap all over again.

Super condensed version:

1. Trailer is meh, just longer footage of the ones seen in previous trailers.

2. I am excited for the Quicksilver scene, which took months to film.

No, leave the titlr as it is.
Curiosity made me to look this trailer and it did its work.
At some point I though it was an movie base the Toys Series of Action Man. I don't know why I thought of that. I just did.

So Mystique is going to take on the leadership role... ugh. I'll be dancing in the streets the day Jennifer Lawrence finally leaves this franchise.

Hopefully Jennifer Lawrence can go back to being a good actress given how involved she seems to be going off this trailer. She couldn't be more bored in "Days of Future Past".

Still, it looks like it can be a fun time.

Oh for fuck's sake.

Again with Wolverine.

Watching Jackman do his thing is alright but it's been done. A lot.

Please just be a cameo.

Could Jennifer Lawrence at least pretend like she's interested in doing this franchise? You know, act? It certainly can't help her profile that she's been half-assing bland reluctant hero across seven movies in two franchises pretty much burying any positive memories of Winter's Bone or her work in David O Russell films.

As for the movie, eh... Can blockbusters stop wrecking entire cities ad nauseum? It pulls me out because I'm always wondering how, in the sequel taking place a couple of years later, we're supposed to assume the US shook off 100 9/11s in a major city and rebuilt rather than it being a slippery slope to dystopian, apocalyptic horrorscapes.

So now they are actually copying Marvel's cinematic trailers? I mean the final scene with the Wolverine Claws was nothing short of a rip on the Underoos Spidey show in the final trailer for Civil War. Only with none of the expectation I mean come one it was obvious that Wolverine would be jammed in here somewhere, they managed to jam him in to every other X Men movie.

Anyway should be interesting too see what Sansa Stark can do. Get them all killed and bring about a war that cements the power base of the bad guys.

Because Superheros stories always has to take place in cities.

Eh, looks like it could be fun? None of the X-Men movies are particularly great. I don't imagine this one will be any more or less bad than the rest. Can't be any worse than X-Men 3 or Wolverine.

I dunno, this trailer made me a lot more interested in the movie than the previous ones. I'm not as excited for this as I am for Civil War but I do enjoy this current run of X-Men movies so I look forward to it.

...I'd like to say 'just like the audience', but that film was peculiarly positively received.

I suppose I am doing teh internetz thing of posting just to be negative, but, um, sod all the X-Men films, frankly. Self-serious nonsense, forever shackled to three founding films of deeply mixed quality that never knew they were going to be part of a longstanding continuity.

Those films - alongside Raimi's Spidey - helped pave the way for the MCU and Nolan's best DC films, but I don't believe it even begins to compare to those highlights; some of the casting's awful, many of the characters are terribly represented, and so the entire continuity feels like a sprawling mess, uncomfortably still a part of the old [crappy] guard, and the contemporary era where comicbook IP's are done justice. What's worse, is that I always preferred the X-Men on the page to the Avengers.

McAvoy (and Stewart) and Fassbender (and McKellen) are always great fun to watch, but almost every other element of those X-Men films past and present I could do without. The sooner it dies off and the whole X-Men IP is rebooted the better.

TLDR: grumble grumble...

We survived the Dawn of Justice...
We were floored by the Civil War...
But, we might all fall to the Apocalypse...

Other than that, way to be blunt about THAT origin, Quicky!

J Law seems realllyyyyyy monotone in the trailer. Ehhh, not too impressed, especially if she is going to be a main character we follow with lots of screen time.

Everything else seems cool. Apocalypse is growing on me, although the look is still wonky. His voice is good though, and the horsemen should be really good.

I bet Wolverine is just a cameo. Hopefully just like in First Class, that is a cameo done right. A first class cameo, if you will :p

I'll give this one a watch. They bought a lot of my goodwill with first class and didn't quite squander it all with days of future past (I still hate time travel movies). That said, I always liked the horsemen way more than apocalypse, but then again I've never really 'got' what he's about. I just wish apocalypse didn't seem like a carbon copy of the villain from guardians of the galaxy.

After being rather disappointed in marvel's version of quicksilver (especially with how awesome he was in the last xmen film), his scenes are some of what I'm looking forward to the most. Not thrilled about the casting choice for jean grey; she just looks so bland and her complexion does not go with red hair.

Also, that better be hugh jackman as wolverine. I don't think my brain could accept anyone else at this point. I hate to say it, but I would see the movie just because he's in it.

Jackman posted like a ten second video of Wolverine's part of the trailer on his Twitter account - so I imagine it's him. I'm just hoping it is a cameo, the last one was glorious.

I don't know if it's my imagination but is Mystique even more blue? It could be the more saturated colours they are using, like how Jubilee's coat is really yellow.

I noticed Jennifer Lawrence rocking a dress similar to Rebecca Romijn's in the original X-men. Nice continuity.
