Greeting's fellow Nerd's, Geek's and Gamers.

Throughout most of my educational life I was bullied for all manner of reasons but mostly because I was quite emotionally shut off from the other kids (Asperger syndrom).

Thing's got a lot worse when people found out about my gaming enthusiasm.
I hated confrontation so I never fought back.
One person who I will simply call "Dick" was always the most violent and caused me a lot of misery. After I finished High school I thought I'd never see him again.

But today while I was in "Game" all of a sudden after not seeing him for a year and a half, Dick showed up and started reminding me of all the "Good times" he had at my expense.

Now I did what my parents taught me and ignored him untill he started pushing me around and then tripped me onto my face. (This took place outside the store)

It was at this moment that I felt an uncontrollable rage build up inside that forced it's way into my fist and caused me to turn around and punch Dick full force right in the face, actually causing his lip to bleed as his body met the floor.

After a lot of swearing on his behalf he made up his excuse's and made a quick escape, leaving me there with an unbelievable sense of satisfaction and pride for finally putting the prick in his place.

So as a question to you guys:
"Has anything like this happened to you and what happened"??

P.S.
sorry I think I should quickly mention that I am now 21 just finished a 2 year IT college course and am currently on a free year before I consider UNI.
(This was a sort of ghost from the past type thing).

There was a general cliche bully kid in middle school, don't even remember his name anymore, but he would do things like slap books out of your hands and shit. Taunts and teases on regular basis, etc. Thing is he wasn't all that big, amount my size (I'm rather small), and definitely not a 'cool' kid according to the middle school social ladder.
Leaving the gym after PE one day he said (don't remember exactly) something homophobic/offensive/generic middle school insult, and hit the books in my hands. He didn't hit them hard enough to knock them out of my hands, but for whatever reason, like you, that was just the final straw I guess. I punched him in the side of the head (i know, wtf?) and he fell into the bleachers. He just kinda stared at me for a minute and then i walked away. That was pretty much that.

*Salutes OP*

I've had a few experiences like this, but I've always been too large to knock down (Not fat, just big).

Since graduation, I've gotten the awesome chance to get back at many of these people. You see, I buckled down and went to Automotive Technical School, graduated, and got a well-paying job in the 2 years after high-school.

All of the people who gave me trouble never made anything of themselves. I get to laugh at every goddamn one of them when I decide to go out for dinner.

My message to you, OP, is to do better than every one of them. The sense of accomplishment is far beyond punching any of them in the face.

A-fucking-men. Back when I was in 7th grade a few kids thought it would be funny to steal my book and play keep-away with it. It wasn't so funny when I hunted them down individually and beat all three of them within an inch of their lives. Nobody fucked with me at school from then on. "Don't fuck with him, he's crazy" is the safest refuge an awkward, introverted kid has in the dog-eat-dog jungle of public education.

During 8th grade I was picked on by two kids because I practiced Judaism at the time which led to a full year of harassment and my leading to my breaking point where they carved three crosses into my skin with a metal tipped pencil. The day after my friends found out about this, cornered them and waited for me to arrive, and then we proceeded to beat the living shit out of them.

That's pretty badass actually.

I remember a couple years back in high school, there was a pretty generic dickhead. Huge, like 6 foot, over 200 pounds (I'm just under 6 foot, about 160 pounds.) So after suffering through just a class with him of pure stupidity, I finally snapped. He was giving people smileys, and was approaching me with his lighter when I just went apeshit. Just as he sticks out his arm, I back up, grab it, smack his hand against my knee, punch him in the face, pick up the lighter and stuck it into his neck. Of course, being a brick, this does not discourage him, so he comes up to try to beat the shit out of me. I'm going for the chair when my friends are finally able to subdue me, and I get a thanking from my teacher at the time and a near month's long suspension for him. Score!

Fuck yeah, good for you. Suffered from such a prick myself in my very first year at high school. He walked around like the dog's bollocks, just picking on whoever was in his field of vision. Now fastforwards five years and he's working part time in NEXT because he dropped out of his college course and I'm an IT Engineer for the local authority. To be fair, I'm banned from NEXT for the events that day but all of that's what the point is not.

I love you.

I remember being taught as a child that violence never solves anything. I also remember realizing that there are occasionally no usefull alternatives. Some people refuse to function on logic, but we all listen to the lizard brain. Sometimes pain just works when nothing else will.

As for personal experience, which is to say OT, I was never actually bullied. Hit my growth spurt at 11 and started growing a beard at 14. Sure, I was the biggest loser in class and a total dork, but nobody had the balls to mess with me. Good times.

Also, OP, good for you, hombre!

I'm 21 years old and I have made it a point of pride that I never get violent with anyone.....but that Bastard made my life so miserable that I finally went Darth Vader dark side on his arse and sure as hell felt it!!

I gave in to the power of the dark side!!!

At a personal level, I'll agree. Going mano a mano is definitely the best option sometimes. But at a larger scale or if it's someone that you have real differences with, violence does become unacceptable.

Was gonna read it, but then you said you had Asperger's and I stopped caring....
O-O
......Yet you took the time to write that comment??
I only added that, to explain why I cut myself off from the other kids, frankly I could give two shits about my aspergers and wil probably remve that part anyway.

....But your choice, your comment not really my problem.

Ah the memories this is bringing back. I've never beat up anyone yet (I'm not a fan of violence although it can be a way to get things done quickly) but there was this one time in band camp which I do remember. This kid was being a pest to everyone including me. He would do all of the dickish bullying things. One time though he insulted me (can't remember what it was) and I was so angry I grabbed his throat and shoved him against a wall. I actually picked him up by his throat. I didn't beat him senseless but I made him say a lot of embarrasing things before he choked him too much. He never bullied me again, in fact, no one ever bullied me again. Yay for crazy nerd rage juices.

yes nd no...
I was always told that if i know i can beat them - not to fight them.
and so considering im a lean build, with a mohawk, and relatively quiet, this group of jock retards kept picking on me.
and the moment 1 tried hitting me - i beat down the whole group...I got in trouble for that, but needless to say i was never picked on again.
by the way - I've trained in ninjutsu and dragon kung fu for a looooong time. haha
