Holy crap, I don't have the endurance (or time... or patience) to go through 20-some pages to see if anyone else here is from Nova Scotia, Canada. And I don't need to specify a town, or anything, because if you live in Nova Scotia, you're already close enough.

Currently in Statesboro, GA near Savanna. My permanent residence is in metro Atlanta however. I don't know any other Escapists in the state

To be fair, I think metro Atlanta extends as far west as Birmingham, AL, so saying that you are in metro Atlanta doesn't really help.
I live in the great Capital Wasteland, studying at American University. You know that section of Fallout 3 where you go to Tenley Town? That's my area. It looks nothing like the game says it does.
My family is in Atlanta near Decatur and I spend my breaks there. Send me a PM or something if you ever want to hang out.

then leave the damn city! i dislike people who complain when it is cold here. i dont care if i can freeze my dick to a tree by pissing sometimes! ITS MY CITY! MY BIRTH CITY! AND I SHALL DEFEND HER HONOR TO THE LAST whenever the hell i feel like giving up!!!! (and i never tried the pissing thing, i might make a friend do it on a dare next winter though now that i have the idea in writing)

but in all seriousness, yeah it gets cold, i get it, and i dont mean to hate, ranting is just fun sometimes. and i just dont like how some people turn up the heaters soo damn high i cant wear a sweater inside (im looking at you lincoln park HS!!!!)

Also, I forgot to mention, but I am going to be in Athens, Georgia this weekend. If any Escapists live there/ attend UGA we can meet up then too. I believe I have Saturday night free to go bar hopping or whatever I can conceive of doing.

So yeah, I hail from Woodbury, Minnesota (a suburb of the state capital, St. Paul) at the moment. 'Tis a decent place, although I prefer the northern suburbs of Minneapoils (specifically the Coon Rapids, Anoka, and Blaine areas) where I grew up.

Nice, I'm living up in Hibbing right now, its kinda like an old mining/retirement town, not much here except the world's largest open mine ore pit.

Well, after stalking the entire thread, it seems you two are the closest to where I live (Nottingham). It's strange, because last time there was a thread like this there were two people about 20 minutes from me.

Meh, not bad I guess, thank you =). It's pretty expensive here though (housing wise) so me and the missus are probably gonna be moving back to Peterborough.
