Act superior to people and show Americans around. I speak with a very upper-class accent compared to the Stokie dialect.Giuglea said:sooo..what is it that u do for fun?i`m a bit scared to ask..Thyunda said:Stoke-on-Trent, North Staffordshire. England.
Also known as that place nobody knows about. Sitting somewhere between Birmingham and Manchester, and nobody has a bloody clue it even exists.
Also, on some weeks, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, East Midlands.
I would but i'm out that day with the Idiots Club trying out new Top Hats, Drinking Port and Watching the Cricket.Giuglea said:how about lager and football?oh wait...the other english stereotype..andyallen123 said:I Live In Basingstoke In England.
If anyone wants to meet up for tea and scones then that would be spiffing!
[can i stop with the stereotypes now...]

Lancaster University. If you're in town on Tuesday, come down to the Golden Lion pub, I'll be the one with the Gibson Les Paul who's making too much noise.
Basically. It mostly depends on who we have there at the time. Soemtimes we don't have drummers or bassists, or other guitarists, or any other people in the entire pub...

So far I only know of... two Escapists who also live in BC. Important information right there, don't chya know?
Philadelphia. Kinda close, but not terribly so.SageRuffin said:I don't suppose anyone else lives in or around the DC/Baltimore area, huh?

The speech here is highly amusing.
"I fancy partaking in an expedition to the city centre, my dearest companion" becomes
"goin' up 'anley duck."
It's also well known that if you were born here, you'd most likely die here.
where is that?Insanum said:Wigan - im also 15 mins from Drank_taint92.Giuglea said:I`m studying architecture in Preston,Lancanshire UK..are there any other escapists in town?at uclan maybe?the rest of you just post where you at now..maybe you can find a friend near you..
Don't jinx it!Zap Rowsdower said:Yeah. Although it has been getting progressively warmer the last few days. We might be in for an early spring.CptRumGuy said:Ooohhhh...you're in THAT part of Michigan? Yikes...yeah, I suppose it's not so bad here cold-wise by comparison.Zap Rowsdower said:Chicago is delightfully warm compared to where I live: a small town called Gwinn.CptRumGuy said:Suburbs of Chicago, Illinois...Nice city, when it's NOT fucking cold.

It's odd. My accent stems from...God knows where it stems from. Though my family name hails from Ireland and my father's family living in Scotland their entire lives, I speak with a very clear, very defined Cheshire accent.Giuglea said:that is indeed funny my good sir...Thyunda said:Act superior to people and show Americans around.
