I was emailed a website where to build lots of homemade explosive mixtures, and other stuff like that, and being a student learning chemistry I decided to fuck theory and do some practice, well my first batch of smoke bombs and a bit of what I like to call "S#!** YOUR PANT" sticks, and now I'm thinking while looking at a Nitrogen Triiodide recipe... Is this a good Idea, I kinda know what I'm going to do with this stuff and I defiantly know what I'm doing but is this a good Idea?

What would you do if put in these rigged to blow shoes??

you're a pyromaniac.

If i could screw with fire, i'd find fun ways to hold steaks in mid air and cook them that way
NAH Fire bombs were a long time ago, now I?m on to plastic explosives made from bleach, the only reason I'm doing this is to keep my mind off the world even a moment with my mind of the task could mean my demise really quite exhilarating to be honest I suggest you all try! ;)

I wouldn't mess around with this sort of stuff if I were you, the last thing you would want to do is to mess it up and end up injuring yourself or others. The idea of explosions may seem like fun, but if it goes wrong then that is not going to help anybody.

What are you "going to do with this stuff"?...
Set them off in my "designated" blast zone or if I feel really bad one day and need a cheer up, in my x-girlfriends x before me's car I don't know just yet, my first bit of "S#!** YOUR PANT" sticks were set off without a hitch and no property damage, so it?s all legit except the part where manufacturing this stuff is kind of illegal

Go for it, make a video and show us the damage of whatever poor thing takes the brunt of the firepower, make it burn! Burn baby burn, disco inferno sorta style.

Just make sure you know what you're doing and take some safety precautions. You wouldn't be the first person who getting something to blow up in your face.

Makes me think of something that happened in Holland a while ago, two teens were making a pipebomb with a guide they found on the internet. They made it in a PVC tube, only they forgot to make a hole for the fuse. Stupid as they were, they drilled a hole and then: KABLAM.

I don't know what happened to them afterwards though, but I think both survived.

Ah, I see, you're a terrorist!

'cause you know, ONLY terrorist would EVER have any inclination to blow things up these days, or ever.

At least according to Fox news at least :p /sarcasm

Being quite the pyromaniac myself I would reccomend that you stay away from the Nitro Trioxide as things like that tend to be very unstable. If you want I boom send me a PM and I tell you a few "fun" mixes in a little while.

I was makin Nitrogen Triiodide which is highly unstable, unless its wet, but other than that you move it it blows, you tap it it blows, you even look at it funny it blows, I know what I'm doin here, I think.... But more things to go boom, I may take you up on the offer

Throw caution to the wind and blow something up!
Throwing caution to the wind is not a good idea, these are sometimes highly unstable things (to tired to make anymore and to tired to type excuze the lack of quality in my writing) and throwing caution to the wind is like going into mine field skipping this way and that. Now for detonation throwing caution to the wind can result in pointless loss of life, like other peoples.

I won't say I'm a professional but I have worked out on a white board what I'm actually doing to theses chemicals and what the result it, making this in what use to be my old sauna at a cabin and most importantly if they blow up and I'm the only one harmed it really doesn't matter well to me that is.....

Ive been doing similar for years now
however my location does make it hard to get a hold of some of the substances needed

edit: it looks like your doing this properly, and the only tip i have for you is stay away from fuses and rig up multiple detonators, currently i have a phone (just a novelty but still fun), wire, and wireless detonators
one time the fuse failed, i ended up throwing mini molotovs to get it to blow

Damn it! I read the title and I fought you were going to say how cool it would have been to conjure fire through your fingertips ( a la Bioshock), and I would have made a joke about how masturbating would have become a problem.

Damn it!

Here's the thing. Don't be stupid and don't get caught. There is wonderful fun you can have with a teabag of touch powder gently dropped off a 5-story building into an empty street below. Ensure that no-one gets hurt and you should be dandy.
