I thought this game was awesome and even after 6 playthroughs I'm still not done with it :D I just started my first playthrough as a female

as far as pairings go, I hooked up Chrom with everyone he could but only Sumia felt like the right pairing. Also Cynthia and Lucina as sisters was just awesome. In the end Lucina, Sumi, and Cynthia became my strongest units in the game, they would take an extra turn after defeating an enemy, they all had flying mounts but Dark Knight defense and strength, and even better was the relationship they had among themselves. Sumia was just plain badass fighting with her daughters by her side :) although in all honesty I feel sorry for Chrom dealing with 3 crazy overpowered women...

As for the maleMC I have had him marry over 10 of the girls but in terms of usefulness Cordellia was perfect for him. HOWEVER I personally think that he should be with Tharja, the ending when you marry her is just perfect and their conversations are just funny and sweet all at once, also the supports maleMC and Tharja have with their kids just because when you put it all together it makes the family as a whole seem very close and caring. Something I didn't get with any other characters :/

NOW, playing as the femMC I want to have Morgan marry Lucina because it just seems right. Still I'm really bothered femMC and Tharja couldn't fall in love and ADOPT children, given how the kids look, other than clothes they don't look anything like their parents! The thing I'm debating now is who is femMC going to marry...

I apologise for bumping this nearly two months old thread as I got a query about this subject in the game and I can't be bother making a thread to discuss this specific part of the game.

I'm having abit of a stumped at this game as I had read up about the "galeforce" ability. What I like to know is how important is it to acquire it or does anyone on here actually got and used it? I'm just asking cos from the sound of it, it seen it will require alot of grinding and time just to get an ability.

I mean at the moment I am almost up to that chapter before the timeskipped happened and I'm doing the supporting stuff (got a couple of S ranks now but there are still more shipping to do). Even then it still require alot of time and grind (finding more challange battles and getting those seals to promote/ reclass my party). Heck only two of them had been promoted so far (Liss and Maribelle) so it will take me some time to get them to level 20 to fully utalise the promote/ reclass feature!

Before you asked, I'm playing it on casual and normal mode. Even then I still restart the game when my character HP had reach 0 (yes I know there is no permadeath but I would still want that character to still be in that chapter to gain experience).

Oh as for the topic- since I had read up on this Galeforce ability beforehand I pretty much had pair up my characters for the stats only but I'm not exactly upset over it, actually Sully and Donnel seen to go well hand in hand and aswell with Cordelia Stahl (to me they kind of like the second Chrom and Summia), Gaius and Tharja (the class on those two are not exactly lawful good).
Abilities in FE: Awakening plot wise have no real significance other than random luck that it will activate in battle. They are basically only really important in the "meta game" so to speak of Fire Emblem when faced off against other players.

That is not to say Galeforce isn't important. Like all ablities, more than once I thanked the game lord for a OHKO ability to show up when my character is near dying. Giving him/her just one more turn to live. (or alternatively their partner blocks hits from the enemy.)

Then again, I will shamelessly admit that I never gave a scat about stats and simply shipped my favorite pairings like the sad sad fangirl I am.
