Not necessarily. If, for instance, you experience many of the same battles from a different point of view then that would not justify the extra purchase. They may be two entirely separate games, with their own characters and plot, with only a small amount of overlap for plot reasons. That's fine. The fact that they're selling one at a discount, however, makes me fear that their reusing many of their assets, and they just divided one game into two or three pieces. They've released fire emblem games where you get to fight for both sides before. The difference is that they did it in a single game.Silvanus said:The two games take place in entirely different locations for the most part, do they not? Along with different casts and plots. That would seem to answer that.Fox12 said:This is obscene. So they cut the game into three pieces? I may buy the whole thing, but I expect a minimum of 3x the content present in awakening to justify the purchase. Otherwise it's just more price gouging.
In other words, if this is Zelda: Oracle of Time/Oracle of Seasons then we're fine.
If this is Pokemon Red/Blue then fuck this noise.
Well, it would seem to. Could be misleading, with more overlap than they've let on.
Like I said, if it's like the Zelda: Oracle games then it's fine. They were separate stories with a little bit of overlap for plot reasons. I just hope the franchise doesn't become greedy after one major success.
