So my game of choice the past few weeks has been Fire Emblem (GBA) and Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones (GBA). Needless to say, I love this style of game. Simple turn-based strategy with a simple level-up system. I've tried FF: Tactics and even Ogre Battle and with those types of games everything seems very convoluted and they have annoying characters in them.

To get to the point, I'd really like some more Fire Emblem, or Fire Emblem-esque style games. I'm from Aus (So PAL only), I own a PS2/PS3/Gamecube and I'm not against emulators (For PSX/SNES/NES/GB/GBA). Oh, and I've already got Advance Wars.
dude if you can find it, get the Fire emblem game for the GC, if you played brawl, it's where Ike is from

Did anyone play the one that was released on the Gamecube or the Wii? A quick ebay search made me realise that the one on the Gamecube is roughly $100AUD in mint condition. Crikey!
I never got a chance to. I didn't know it was worth that much, as I saw it a few months ago for $20. Should have bought it.
heh, story of my life. I once spotted Shining Force 3 brand new for $10 in a gamestore bin. Little did I realize it'd jump to 100 on ebay like a year later *facepalm*.
Unlucky you. I've been fairly lucky with this type of thing though. I got Skies of Arcadia for $10.
Heh, kind of unrelated but you know what I saw brand new in a Wal-Mart about two years ago? A brand new snes controller, three of them to be exact (I did buy one this time.) crazy huh.
That's pretty amazing. I can't remember the last time I've seen a new SNES controller.

That makes me glad that I bought it the week it came out. Also, I'd reccommend finding Sword of Seals on an emulator. You can find a translation patch for it pretty easily.

I've played FE7, 8, 9 and 10 or (Just)Fire Emblem, Sacred Stones, Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn if you prefer.

Out of them all I'd say Path of Radiance is by far the best. It excels all the others in story, characters, villains and enviroments. Radiant Dawn is a good sequel but doesn't have the same quality its previous game had.

Sacred Stones is definately the weakest of the bunch, but still a decent game. I'm playing it right now, I would be playing FE7 but the one I got from Amazon isn't able to save which is a great pain.

Yeah, Sacred Stones is definitely the weakest game, but as you said, it's still a good game. I'd say it has the best post-story content though. Those ruins kept me going for hours after finishing the main quest.
