If you have the PC version, sure, you can cheat him back. Otherwise, you'll have to start a new game or from an old save.jonnopon3000 said:Buttocks. I need to find a way to make him alive again. Cheat maybe. Hehe.GonzoGamer said:I played off the ps3 so I don't have puppies. I don't know if the puppy shows up at 101 or Scrapyard nor am I sure if the perk is useful if dogmeat is already dead.jonnopon3000 said:Shoot. Well...maybe if I get the puppies! perk at lvl 22...then maybe even though he's dead a puppy will appear? Or will he reappear at the scrap/vault 101?GonzoGamer said:That plasma gun (A1...) came from the Android when you finished the Replicated Man Quest. It is very cool.jonnopon3000 said:Why does everyone, but everyone, have dogmeat? I personally absolutely hate having a companion. i tried out having dogmeat, and I ended up killing him. I had no choice. I HATED having him there all the time, and so tried to tell him to fuck off. But there is no option to remove him as a companion, so I needed to kill him. I wasted like half the ammo on my specialized plasma rifle aswell. I don't remember where I found the weapon, but it is something like A3-(some numbers)'s plasma rifle?GonzoGamer said:You never actually see the ufo with the firelance. You may hear an explosion or (if at night) see a flash. What will tip you off is the sudden appearance of glowing alien ammo on the ground. Pick up all the ammo and if you don't see the firelance set Dogmeat looking for it, then have him look for ammo too; he's sure to find clips you didn't.jonnopon3000 said:Does anyone have the firelance? Does anyone know how to get it?
Also, while I'm at the Fallout mysteries...who has found a location called? What is it supposed to be? The ruins of the realistic location of the actual Bethesda Studios? Or just a building with the name as an easter egg?Bethesda Ruins
A cool little aspect of Bethesda Ruins: if you still need to level up Big Guns skill go back there every 3 days and kill the two raiders with flamethrowers in the buildings. One of them has a BG skill book that re-spawns with him.
Awesome weapon. Uses same ammo as the laser rifle. Wierd.
I don't like Dogmeat following me around either. Thats why I tell him to wait at the safehouse. Then if I need him for something like this, I go back there, pick him up and get my loot. Then I go back to the safe house and leave him there again.
Sigh.
I could deal without him. Plus...in dialogue with him I only got the option to make wait at the Vault. What's the safehouse/where is it?
Yea, you can send him to 101 which is useful if you want to keep going around but don't want him with you. I just had the regular safehouse in Megaton and while there with him, used the "wait right here." speech option.
I've killed companions before but just annoying ones like Stinky.

You can still try blowing it off with a grenade or missile if it's too high up.TPiddy said:My Firelance story is kind of sad actually.
For reference, Dogmeat had already died.
I was exploring the northern part of the map, near where Oasis is, under the monorail tracks or whatever they are, when I heard the explosion. Sure enough, I turn around and there's alien blaster ammo everywhere, but no firelance.... I'm assuming the firelance ended up on top of the monorail tracks and I couldn't for the life of me find a way to get up there. I had to leave it.
