First CoD6 details released, update: FAKE, says IW

It's Call of Duty. What do you people expect? An excellent game? No, a good game, great game maybe, but no more. Why? Because Call of Duty is not new anymore. It's not original, even. That description of the M16 says it all. The game is made to cater to those who complain that getting drilled in the chest by a sniper they cannot see, hear, or find on the map is "noobish" and "unfair."

P.S. Technically, Modern Warfare 2 will not be Call of Duty 6. World at War is NOT Call of Duty 5...at least not until I see the official title, or it becomes obvious that they are dropping the numbering. (dropping the numbering will probably be in the realization that CoD4 is the last "new" game they can come up with)

Awesome, my only qualm is them taking out the G3. Noooo! My favorite gun!

Oh well, as long as they make one of the other Assault Rifles single shot, I'll be okay.

Russian guns. Seriously

There's ONE russian assault rifle in the whole damn game, ONE russian submachinegun (which is actually an assault rifle), ONE sniper rifle, ONE light machinegun, ZERO pistols and ZERO shotguns. Ridiculous. Russia has some kickass modern weaponry yet it's only represented in the game by the very FIRST type of the AK-47 that you hardly ever see even in museums, and a belt-fed lightmachinegun that was just months late from being fielded in fuckin WWII.

EDIT: I would also like them to use the current models of all the guns, games that don't kinda bug me a little.

This game will blow .. nothing will touch Killzone 2 for years to come !

360 fanboys can eat it .. Killzone 2 is the best game evar and they know it and it hurts .. COD 4: MW 2 will not hold a candle to Killzone 2 .. Infinity Ward may as well go back to the drawing board.
Who needs guests ? ? Have you seen Killzone 2 ? .. C?mon, you have to admit it?s the best game ever made and it will propel Sony and the PS3 way past MS and Nintendo .. it?s selling like hot pies. Killzone 2 can only be acomplished on the PS3 cuz the hardware is like 10x more powerfull as the 360 .. give your heads a shake, this COD stuff is for kiddies.

Anyway, I don't think this list is real for two reasons.
1. The comment about the "Special Grass Suits" MW had those, it's nothing new...
2. The comment about the "No snipers with silencers" business, if the game won't have it I don't see them letting us know for quite some time... Why bring bad news into all this?

Personally happy the G3 is gone as modded controllers pissed me off but the fact that the M16 hasn't been changed will make it the same game in that no matter how good you are a complete nooby can kill you in a single shot without you being able to move and I think that coupled with vehicles will be a game breaker and the reason I won't get it. (If this list is real that is.)

Ok, I will admit, I liked COD4 alot, but I was uninterested in WAW just because of the fact it is, once again, back in WWII. Actually, I think I'm pretty much Call of Duty'd out. But I also believe this is fake.

Actually, if you're ANY good you'll spot the "nooby" first and shoot before he could. You don't just stand around out in the open, staring at the ground waiting to be shot, do you?

On this new list of weapons they better have the French Famas. In tests using this gun against the M4 it was proven to fire more accurately, farther away, and have less recoil. It is also one of the coolest looking guns I've seen.

G3 was my favorite gun, and I don't mod. It was just awesome.

I don't get the point complaining about the M16, it's not like it was something you couldn't unlock until later, it was the first default class. If someone's pissing you off with it, there's nothing stopping you from using it.

Including the C8 doesn't exactly mean that Canadians will be in the game. It could just mean that the SAS are returning and that Infinity Ward is being more accurate with their weapons this time around. The C8 is the favored weapon of choice among British special forces like the SAS and SBS.

Oh, and including both the M4 and C8 is stupid, they are almost totally identical. Then again, knowing the moon logic that Call of Duty applies to coming up with weapon stats, the two could very well end up a lot different.

As for this information, I doubt it is real by any stretch of the imagination. "Leaked information" and/or "my friend is friends with a guy who has a dad who is friends with another guy that knows someone who has a coworker who got to play Call of Duty 6's beta" doesn't count as legitimate information, and the fact that some people are falling for it is laughable. Hell, if a post by a random person on Twitter counts as "real leaked information" then I should pull a bunch of random stuff out of my ass, post it on Twitter saying that I am a Call of Duty 6 beta tester and fool a metric crapton of people.

Same here, particularly the G36C. In the single-player campaign it was the best looking gun (plus it shared ammo with the M4A1, which meant I always had like 500 bullets for it)
