First we had an old Mac that I played lots of games on.

The first real 'console' was my Gameboy Colour. The only console since then has been my precious Xbox 360.

Nintendo Entertainment System(NES). After that I made a huge jump to the 360.

you played your NES for like 20 years ? and i guess computers count too, interesting to see how many owned a commodore! btw any Sinclair ZX Spectrums in the house?

I remember it but christ those are hard to find these days. I'm looking for one for over two years and I couldn't find one.

PlayStation, it was a shared but my brother never played it so it was good.
The first one I owned myself was the good old PS2.

I had a Megadrive as a kid with Sonic 2 and stuff, but the 1st thing I really got into was the original Tomb Raider back in 96.
I think my favourite console was either the Dreamcast or Xbox, fun times on both.

For a time I had the old school NES. Mario, Metroid, Excite bike, and some racing game I forget the name of, ahh what fun times. Unfortunately it would die on me quite often, not even the blowing on the cartridge trick worked. After that was a genesis/megadrive where Sonic 2 and Jurassic park filled my gaming afternoons

Where in my post did I say it was? Maybe I was just spontaneously saying that the Commodore 64 was amazing, totally out of context?
But, for the pleasure of sticklers like you, the SNES was my first.

I actually got a bloody Amstrad after I got a master system, solely because my mum's friend was giving it away, and dropped a large bag of games in front of me, and I simply sat there with an expression similar to this O_O
