Some candidates, in roughly decreasing order of probability:

-A labyrinth/maze-game on a pre-PC computer, the kind with the huge old-school floppydisks. The floppy had another game on it too, but I don't remember what it was. Dunno what the name was, don't think I could read at the time.

-Snake or the banana-throwing Gorillas that came with Visual Basic for DOS.

-A learning game called Alphabet Blocks

-Snoopys Game Club

-Zoo Keeper

Pretty sure anything below was *not* the first, but probably among the first ten:

-Sonic the Hedgehog, Sega Mega Drive

-Microsoft Flight Simulator

-Dune 2: Battle for Arrakis

I think it might have been either Bubble Bobble or a Dizzy game for the Commodore 64 and when slightly older Sonic 1 and 2 for the Megadrive. Hours and hours of Sonic. I think my mum regrets letting me have that console...

Crash Bandicoot when I was 3.

Actually now I remember playing some game on a floppy disk where I was an orange skinned dude but I can't remember anything else about it. I was about 2.

"Commander Keen, Marooned on Mars" also.

I was 4, and I saw my mum playing it. I had no idea computers could be so entertaining. Given the amount of time I've spent playing games since then, I'm betting my mother's kicking herself now :p

Some Micky the Mouse game on that one console that required those old cartridges. Remember the game screwing up on me and my brother and having to blow in the bottoms to make them work, Good times...

Sonic the Hedgehog on the Mega Drive or Jazz Jackrabbit on my dad's laptop. I forget which came first but I do remember when we first got the Mega Drive and I came home from school one day when I was 5 or 6 to find my dad playing through Marble Zone.

Some hockey game on one of the old systems that no one even knows about. All I know is that it was the blue team vs. the pink team and, for what it was, it was pretty fun.

It was either Super Mario Bros. for the NES, Super Mario World for SNES, or Super Street Fighter II for SNES.

Diddy Kong Racing. A little over a year ago I busted out the N64 and blazed through the game right up to Wizpig. It got me interested in older games on the SNES, N64, and PS1.

I love thee, oh glorious kart racer that captivated my childhood.

First game I remember playing was Go Fish.

As for video game: It was an arcade game you flew around a helicopter and shot things down, I think it was loosly based off the tv show Airwolf.
