the first game I got really good at was SSBM. I went to local tourneys and such. I am nowhere near best of the best or anything, but a normal person stands almost no chance. in terms of tourney rules, it would be unusual for me to do less than a 3 stock against a human (tourney rules = no items, balanced stages only, 4 stock, 8 minute timer, no stall tactics).

other than that, I got really good at timesplitters future perfect in my group of friends. 120 kills in 20 minutes with 97% accuracy, and 123 headshots (with bots). I have NO idea how I ended up with 123 headshots and 120 kills.
Thats the beauty of Timesplitters 3. I suggest going on siberia, one shot one kill will only snipers set as the weapons. Its a great laugh with friends.

Oh, and the headshots on that game is broke to an extent...

Crash Team Racing. I'm still totally and completely unbeatable at that game. If there's only one game in the world which I have mastered, it's CTR
Awww, shit! You had to name that game, right? Now I have to play it again. I hope you're proud of yourself... :p

OT: Apparently I'm very good at Devil May Cry 3. I've actually never found it that difficult in the first place.

It was most likely Twisted Metal 3. Not really that challenging of a game, but I could beat the game with anyone on the hardest difficulty without losing more than 1 life.

Smash bros. Then Left 4 dead. Big time gap I know, I tend to jump to different games too often to become good at them.

Probably Dark Forces, but I'm unsure. I just remember watching an LP of it a couple years ago and the commentator complaining about how difficult the game was. I was sitting there having beaten the game on hard years earlier wondering what he was talking about.

The original Red Alert. And damn, that game was hard to get good at. It was back in the time when hardcore gamers were (mostly) the only ones who played online, so you had to be pretty damned good in order to just hold your own. And I more than held my own.

I won tournaments and everything.

And yes, you read that correctly. More than 1 tetris tournament.

The first game I got really good at was probably Metal Gear Solid 3. When I say good I mean REALLY good, like sneaking trough the entire game without being spotted and so forth.MGS 3 is one of the best games I have ever played.
The latest game I got really good at is probably Assassins Creed: Brotherhoods multiplayer. Being able to sneak up on a target without them ever knowing you where behind them for 20 seconds is harder than you would think.

I kicked ass and took names with Chun-Li in MvC 1.
...or was it Marvel vs Street fighter? I forget.

Most recent would be Halo: Reach, but I'm not sure if it really counts, since I've been wrecking shit in the Halo games since Halo 2.

A challenger appears. Everyone else I know refuses to play against me, because I have a 'zone' with CTR. There's nothing else I focus on so hard.
Make that three challengers. I freaking loved that game. I even downloaded it from the Playstation store. I think I'll go play it right now.

That makes 3 of us. I used to play on hard and always managed to get a comfortable lead. Since a PS1 was the last console I had, I got pretty good at tekken 3 and the spyro games. Recently though, I've been kicking ass with the Prince of Persia series.

First single player game was probably, DMC the first one. I was like 7 when it first came out, and played the shit out of it, beat the game on hard. And first multiplayer I wanna say gears 1. That was when I started playing online, and started doing good for all my multiplayer games. Now I'm a force to be reckoned with online.
