What was your first experience with video games?

My first was Spyro the Dragon on the original PS. I loved that little purple dragon.

Mine was playing Wolfenstein at my Dad's office on Xmas eve. I think I was about 8. What a great day :)

The first real experience was probably Putt-Putt when I was like 4, but I had played games before that. Just they were silly mini-game type things while that felt like it had much more content to the actual game instead of a collection of card games, say.

Mine was Baldur's Gate. My dad was a player and he let me have a go. I wasn't technically allowed to because it was a 15+ and I was about 5 but who cares? The game was great

Some Star Trek Computer game. I remember shooting aliens in different quadrants and photon lasers, and that's about it. It was fun, though.

Maths Blaster on PC. It's amazing for kids learning maths :)

Then Monkey Island, 2d Prince of Persia & Mafia - my dad played it and I watched enough for him to think playing was ok :D

When I was five or four, my mum bought an N64 with Mario 64 and Banjo Kazooie. So, it was mostly Mario who provided my first gaming experience.

that's in fact my oldest memory ever. i was about 3 years old and i was playing Donkey Kong on our collecovision. i was obviously too young to use by myself the massive and heavy controller this thing had, so my father was olding it, and controling the buttons while i was in charge of the joystick

1942, Super Mario Bros, and RC Pro-Am on the NES way back in the late 80s, early 90s. By god those games are still good. My first PC gaming experience came by the way of Civilization 1, with the little square picture characters, that game is also still awesome, racing for the nuke.
