First impressions of the new MoH?

I've only played the open beta for a few hours and I already am feeling bored of the game. Movement is very BFBC-esque (as is much of the game). And the maps provided in the open beta are so awe inspiringly bad that I have no idea what EA was thinking when they chose them for the open BETA. The weapons are pretty standard and operate as they would in any fps. The main perturbation for me is the laser like accuracy of ALL the weapons, which exhibit nearly zero recoil. You can empty an entire magazine in a target literally across the map and not experience any appreciable upwards movement. The sounds are nice and the game is pretty and runs smoothly (playing on a Asus laptop on high detail) but unless the single player hauls serious ass, I'm thoroughly put off this game.
What are your opinions?

I'll let you know when I download it in a bit. But to be honest did you really expect DICE to change things up? That probably wouldn't be a bad thing for most people.

I've gotta say. This is certainly an improvement over other Medal of Honor games. I think that the single player looks really well done, especially in the sound effects area. Also the multiplayer isn't restricted to the beta. Its called a beta for a reason. It needs work and that is what the beta is designed to help with. I'm gonna be hopeful. Here is how i see it. Multiplayer is going to be awesome or horrible, no middle ground. The single player is going to be Ok, or great. Not bad. Remember, positive outlook on life!

You can't man, you can't. That beard is all sorts of badass. I also reserved a copy because I want to see more Medal of Honor games in the future.

I played the MoH beta and in my opinion, the gameplay feels very much like CoD4/MW2, even the team rush-based mode. A lot of running and gunning, and no real teamwork or squadplay like BC2. Hopefully it won't just be a game with BC2 graphics + MW2-style gameplay.

that doesnt sound so bad to me. New campain, epic beards, better graphics and physics. It's Medal Of Honor! it shares ancestry with MW2. There are bound to be some similarities.

I didn't like the Beta at all. The aiming felt innacurate and choppy, and the general feel and mechanics were clumsy and clunky, which is unlikely to be fixed in the final version.
