In the theaters? I was around 4 and my parents took me to see Star Wars. It is one of my most vivid and earliest childhood memories. I remember driving up to the theater with my parents. Outside they had erected two huge blow up figures of Luke and Vader crossing lightsbers(some how that all come out dirty o_O). Man, do I feel old.

I'm not 100% sure which was the first film I watched as a child, the the earliest films I have clear memories of are Clash of the Titans and King Kong.

The Jeff Bridges King Kong?

I saw both of those in the theaters as a kid. Put hose up there with Dragon Slayer and The 7th Voyage of Sinbad. Oh the memories. Also, Jason and the Argonauts.

Yeah, the Jeff Bridges King Kong.

You didn't think I watched Clash of the Titans and then had a 24 year hiatus from watching films?

I also have fond early memories of Sindbad and Jason and the Argonauts.

Those epic monster films were brilliant for me as a little boy, when I have children I'll let them watch those at a young age, but I wouldn't let them watch modern monster films.

I must have been 4 or 5 and it was Robocop in a hotel room somewhere in cyprus. I had just learned that my dad was a cop and it really freaked me out, I still can't watch it just becuase of the bad memory.

Probably a Disney movie. I've seen almost all of them (excpet Lion King-I've never seen it in its entirety), I think It was toy story, though. However, everything tends to be clouded before the Patriot. I saw that in I think fourth grade because I was doing the Revolutionary War and my dad was like "hey watch this, it's relevant."

How the hell would I know? Something Disney, since I was only able to actually watch movies as a toddler (early 1990's), but I don't actually remember which one since we had almost the entire Disney collection (not counting crap non/part-animated offshoots like "Pete's Dragon") on VHS. God, I miss the old days of retro... (hail the Tetris King).
