First online game?

Since I was a deprived child and my parents never bought me a PC, my first online experience was TF2, which I thoroughly enjoyed and still do enjoy.

However I know lots of you have much more interesting first online experiences than me. So what were they, and more importantly for the sake of reminiscing, what kind of connection/speed did you have?

My first online game was Savage, very fun game. Its still actually my favorite online game to date.

My first online experience was playing Warcraft 3. I still get on and play some DoTA every now and then.

Call of Duty 4.....yep, it was that recent for me....

I had Comcast High Speed, which I believe was in the neighborhood of 4megs or whatever the unit of measurement is for that.

Everquest first MMORPG.

World of Warcraft was the first online game for me.

Diablo 2, the game was addicting, but I couldn't play it more than 1 hour a week online because it was too expensive.

In 2001 I finally got a normal internet (instead of a 56 modem) and I could play Diablo 2, Neverwinter Nights came in 2002 and Enemy Territory in 2003.

Three best games I've ever played. ET would be the best, if you consider it's a FREE game you can still play.

Starcraft, my friends and I would spend hours playing that.

Also Unreal Tournament took a good year away from my life.

Mine was Team Fortress 2 as well. But I first went online on Christmas just gone, so it's still a really new thing for me. It's an incredible game though.

1995 (maybe 1994) on a 14.4 through AOL here (even though that isn't REAL internet).
