This does look like it'll be a really cool DLC, if it is going to feature Dragon-riding. Shame I can't play it currently, since I've only got my laptop with me here at uni and that just cannot run Skyrim. Ah well.

Also, like most people it seems, I'm definitely getting a super-Dragon Priest vibe here. I can't wait for the trailer now...

That looks like crazy beautiful design. I really like how it's badass and elegant at the same time. But that's probably just me.

The details about this dlc are intriguing, I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

Well I'll be damned, that's some sweet looking content over there.

Solstheim is actually a Very high candidate for a Skyrim DLC. Think about it. Bethesda Never makes DLC's that include areas from another provinces than where the main game is located. Oblivion Realms does not count (Shivering Isle is Oblivion Realm for example). Solstheim is the only location in Tamriel that does not include in a province, it lies Really close to Skyrim, and would be a blast for all veteran Morrowind players. I would love to see that happen for real!
My god, the people from YT nearly a year ago may had been on to something. If this will be true, then I'd have a blast!

Come on Bethesda, don't screw this up.

I'm not really up for speculating. I've got the PS3 version of Skyrim, so the odds of me ever seeing any DLC, let alone this one, are very slim. Still, it's a cool looking picture. Makes me think of a Dragon Priest. Might be that you have to deal with the resurrection of an old Priest who's going to try and mess things up again?

I just hope that Silverlock updates SKSE in time. For some reason Steam suddenly decided to opt everyone into the Skyrim 1.8 beta regardless of whether they wanted to or not, so I can't play without crashing. Only people still in offline mode are immune.
the newest version of SKSE was released like the day after the beta first began, and no Steam did not opt everyone into the beta, the beta came out of beta and got released.

As for the guy in the teaser pic

Compare the eye slots on his mask to eye slots the other dragon priest masks

The horns on his helm to a Dragon's horns

And his scale armor to the Dragon priest armor

the dude has to be some ultra-mega dragon priest or something similar.
The beta SKSE build isn't working for me. I'm still getting CTDs. So I'm waiting for the SKSE Beta to stop being beta and work out the kinks.

New with this DLC: an actual endgame of sorts. My last Skyrim character was a vampiric demigod who'd mastered every form of warfare known to Men & Mer, and had wiped out about 4/5 of Skyrim's population by himself... and I was STILL being haranged by dipshit guards about picking up spare change.

I'm hoping for a Point Lookout/Shivering Isles/That werewolf one from Morrowinf, whatever it was called, it had midgets you could slaughter-esque DLC. Y'know nice big open area, change of scenery with a substantial main quest and some self contained side quests as well as new enemies and weapons...

Personally I'm still waiting until Hearthfire is fixed before I start playing again, hell I still have to play Dawnguard but I refuse because of the bugs. They keep making DLC but don't fix shit.

I am all kinds of excited.

But I still want Bethesda to give me the option of:

- Destroying the Thieves Guild (in a manner that is more involved than just going down to the Ratway and killing everybody).
- Wiping the Black-Briar family off the map, either by slaying them all or sabotaging their business empire.
- Joining the Silver Hand to wipe out those dogs and reforge the Companions.
- Telling the Blades where to shove it.

CHOICES Bethesda. Give me substantial, story changing CHOICES in this new DLC, and I will forgive you all your other sins.

So they are adding the Lich King to the game now? That is what he looks like to me.

This doesn't look like Cthulu to me. More like some spider kind of mouths or ant or wasp mouths. No tentacles at all.

From the looks of that screenshot, the trailer should be interesting. Other than that...meh. I doubt anything would be able to get me to play Skyrim again. I am curious to see if DLC will actually come for the PS3 version of the game though.

La de da. Back to good ol' Morrowind and Oblivion for me.

Hopefully he'll be a Dragonborn risen from the dead, resurrected by some evil dude trying to control the dragons or something, or even one of the daedra trying to have some fun. Hopefully when you fight him they make the fight multistaged or something to make the fight feel more epic.

files found in the 1.8 patch specifically mention PS3 DLC.
