First Pokemon Black and White 2 trailer reveal

Hey all, the trailer is up today-


Also to those who doesn't speak Japanese well haven't visit Serebii for the more detail info of the game-

(I have no idea who that scientist is suppose to be.) You can't really see the Water Gym leader properly on this image so click on the third spoiler below to get a good look at him.

Spoiler: It is set two years later after the first game and part of the Unova region is frozen

There will be new location/ town and city in the new game and lastly they confirm that there will be 300 Pokemons to collect in the first playthrought meaning 150 will be the returning Pokemon from the past gen.
So far it seen the follow Pokemons are confirm to return-

Mareep
Metagross
Lapra
Tyranitar
Psyduck
Eevee
Marill
Arcanine
Weavile

My thought-
So Black and White 2 is pretty much like Platinum. I don't mean it being the third instalment but rather the similarity like the return of the past Pokemons and also how like in Platinum the Sinnoh region was a lot more colder. Still it abit more than Platinum since they did make a few new location and city and it look like they trying to make more use of the 3D graphics.

I like the design to the poison Gym leader. Also WTF with the new players appearance? Either the boy is wearing a sport visor or his palm tree like hair bust out of the cap! While I do think the girl is a lot better compare to the first girl player in Black and White if it weren't for those buns (sorry but only Chun Li and Prince Leia can pull off the hair bun look).

I am glad to see the return of some of the old Pokemon as it solve my problem which Black and White Pokemons to make my second team (well 4 of them will be the Black/ White Pokemons). I want more detail on the remaining Pokemon to return (I know for 100% that Pikachu will be in the 150) and where to catch them.

Anyway what do you think? Don't like the players new look? Which past gens Pokemon you want to see return or any other thing on your mind upon seeing the trailer?

I'm sure you mean bun rather than bum bum is the part of the body one sits on.

It's looking good so far, though I'm really not at all impressed with Kaldeo (spelling?) as a legendary, or Pokémon in general compared to things like ponyta, sawsbuck and the like it's just TOO cartoony.

Can't wait to get it, but I'm not sure which version I'll get. I thought that they'd do the same thing they did with B/W and have the mascot with it's opposite color (if that were the case, I'd go with Black 2), but they've matched them up this time.

Also, not too crazy with how the player characters look.

To be honest Pokemon has lost its magic over the fast few games, mostly cause by the stupid new Pokemon. This is my reaction and what literally caused me to refuse to buy Black or White after:

My mate got it and said it was average in the end. I just finished playing Pokemon Yellow, shit was SO cash.

You forgot Diglet/Dugtrio. Personally, I think this hate for the new generations and the blatant oversights of the flaws of the classic generations are fueled almost purely by nostalgia.

OT: Looks pretty good. I'll definitely be glad to have Tyranitar back. I'm not really digging the player characters though :/

Hopefully when it's released in the US we'll get the Keldeo event...It's been bugging me since the release of Black and White proper that Genosect, Keldeo and, Melotea have been on the Dex but have been unobtainable. Other than that I can't wait for this one! It looks really good so far. Also I think it's kind of funny that after 4 years of lack-luster Ice-types this 5th gen has gone a little bit over board with them.

The difference is I honestly like all those Pokemon, even the silly ones from the earlier seasons I like. Call me a sentimental fool but I definitely that the quality of Pokemon has grown almost consistently worse as the series has progressed. With the exception of Ruby and Saphire, I actually liked them more than the original ones... Slightly more. This is how I feel about the quality of Pokemon:

In my opinion the new series is the worst, but I don't completely hate it. So I made it a cross between :/ and . Also I ended up borrowing White of a friend and Mostly finishing it. It was okay, but I'm not to sure how much I like the 3D sections and I find when the sprites move in battles to be a bit creepy. But this is nothing to get worked up about, it's just my opinion... It's not like it means anything...
