First show I hated, ever, was Big Bang Theory. It portrayed nerds and intellectuals as a thing to be pitied, something that needed help to adjust to "normal" situations. Twenty minutes of condescending "normal people" picking on nerds.

Needless to say, I lost a few bad friends when I posted an essay about why I disliked the show on Facebook.

My Little Pony. Oh yes I went there Brony's. The levels of cute that show got made me physically sick. So I suppose that's an accomplishment no other show has been able to do.
Oh yes I went there Brony's
...

OT: Either Degrassi or Hannah Montana, I don't remember which one I saw first.

I just know that my sister used to hog the TV to watch marathons of Degrassi, and I just kept playing a game of guessing what horrible tragedies happened to which characters (that girl gets preggers and has an abortion, that kid gets shot, etc).

Hannah Montana was just the first show where I realized how condescending and lazy all these live action shows aimed at kids are (and yes, guys, I'm pretty young). When a kid in your target audience is calling every punchline 10 seconds in advanced, you're doing it wrong.

Smurfs. Downright Nazi propaganda, and what is worse, it was downright boring Nazi propaganda.
How on Earth is the Smurfs Nazi propaganda?

OT: My little sister tried to get me to watch the my little pony show. I couldn't stand it, it was way to kiddish for me.

Oddly enough, I remember being opposed to Rugrats, mainly for its aesthetic.
Looking back on it, I can appreciate that it wasn't a bad show as such,
and brought up a few interesting ideas to think about: but for me back then,
it just looked, well, ugly.

Don't get me wrong, the hate has subsided and
I'm a little more amenable to the drawing style-
in simpler days my mind was just more interested
with how something looked

e.g I watched various Power Ranger incarnations for the suits and zords/mecha.

Scooby-Doo. That show annoyed the crap out of me. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse they added Scrabby-Doo.
I didn't like Scooby-doo either as a kid. But I am pretty sure its Scrappy-Doo.

I'm fairly certain Scrappy-Doo is the basis of Poochie's addition to Itchy & Scratchy on the Simpsons.

Lost.
I got so far into it before realising how bad it all was that I had to watch to the bitter end to find out what happens. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement.
There seems to be a lot of hate for The Big Bang Theory but I quite like it. I don't watch it all the time but if an episode is on I'm happy to watch it and be entertained.

Dragon Ball Z. The Z is the keyword/letter here. I initially enjoyed Dragon Ball as a trippy adventure show. Then Goku grew up, the Z was thrown in and it became a series of macho stand-offs with an oversized crowd of secondary characters gawking and commenting. Boring and unimaginative as hell. The fact that every other kid in my school watched it and quoted from it made me hate it all the more.
Did you grow up in the U.S? If so, the Funimation dub of Dragon Ball Z changed a lot of the aesthetics of the show which devolved it into a shallow heap of masculine shit. While the story is more or less the same, character's personalities were heavily warped (especially Gokuu's) and stuff like the music which was originally 70s martial arts inspired was swapped out for generic, soulless rock. The real "Z" plays out much more like a fantasy/science wuxia.

I grew up in Argentina, where we get the neutral Mexican dub for everything, from The Simpsons to anime.

even worse my sister would watch it religiously When I wanted to watch something cool like Digimon or the Aladdin series but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO she made me watch that load of horse shit.

I feel disgusted just talking about it.

Ah, okay. I suppose different strokes for different folks then :). It's totally understandable since there is a lot of people that didn't like the transition from action adventure with martial arts to super fights of epic proportions.
