Hello all.
I'm going to be attending a Comic Con later this month, and want to attend in cosplay.
Only thing is, I have no idea what I'm doing.
I had to take two years of Home Economics (which included hand and machine sewing training) but that was almost five years ago, and have not had to even sew a coat pocket since, so I'm a little bit out of practice with the needle and thread.
I'm looking to slowly ease myself into making costumes, so right now my main ideas are Duo Maxwell from Gundam Wing, Edward Elric from Full Metal Alchemist, or the Batsuit from Batman Beyond, since these look like relatively simple projects (aside from the automail arm).
I'm 5'4 (166 centimeters if I did the math right) and 128 pounds (58 kilograms). I have a slim build and dark brown hair. If anybody has any suggestions on other characters to try, please provide a picture (does not matter to me which medium the character is from.), or a tutorial on how to do automail and scar tissue makeup, I would greatly appreciate it.
