For any actors you respect currently, do you remember what film scenes in which you suddenly realised your opinion of them permanently increased? No limit for how many here, I'll rattle off a couple;
Ben Kingsley: First appearance of his nuts character in Sexy Beast.
Christian Bale: Americans psycho, all of it. Then it increased after The Machinist, then even moreso after watching his character in Harsh Times. Ok...he's pretty dedicated.
Cats Blanchett: Amongst 5 actors playing the same role, she was one playing Bob Dylan in He's Not There (most convincingly).
Heath Ledger: Probably obvious that particular film
Robert Downey Jr: A Scanner Darkly, played a paranoid drug addict in an interesting manner.
Guy Pierce: I think the film was called Factory Girl, where he played Andy Warhol, like a sociopath asshole.
Any specific films or moments that initiated newfound actor appreciation? Voice actors included too! ;P
