First video game you played that got you into gaming

Kirby's Dreamland was the first game I remember playing nonstop.
Little Nemo: The Dream Master and Battletoads giving my obsession for impossibly hard games.

"Command and Conquer Red Alert 2" got me going.

I can't remember what got me into PC gaming... I'd been playing games on PC almost my entire life since the early days of home computers. Midnight Rescue (1989) is the oldest game I can remember playing but I wouldn't have played it until about 1991 or 1992.


I used to play NES and SNES games at my cousin's house growing up, but it wasn't until I played Goldeneye on the N64 at a friend's place that I decided I needed a console too.
