oooh, that one indie game from snobcon. thats cool.
Wow, sorry you put so many limits on the topic prick.
what limits? I don't think Bejeweled is an Indie game. So what? Put your games down, and the community will decide whether or not it's consider "Indie".
Well Indie is "Independent" (Funny, it was no second "i" in it "ind"i"e") So lets say.....Puzzle Quest, could be Indie (It's a bad example, its like 1 am here and I'm tire) and casual.

All completely free, all amazingly good:

-Cave Story (Amazing old-school sidescrolling adventure ala Metroid)
-Spelunky (Much like above, but randomized!)
-UFO: Alien Invasion (X-Com tribute)
-Nethack (The great-great grandaddy of every rpg today, still fun, still being updated!)
-Dwarf Fortress (Best Sim game ever made... seriously.)

Download. Enjoy!

That i'll accept. Same thing go's for Plant's vs zombie. Just as long as It's not mainstream and has it's own sense of originality

There's one on the XBL Indie marketplace called Try Not To Fart. Despite (or maybe because of) it's rather childish sense of humour, it's a really fun and somewhat challenging game. I recommend at least trying it.

I would say it, but I'm unsure if Castle Crashers was indie. That game kicks ass.

Castle Crashers
Braid
Cave Story
World of Goo
Mount&Blade

I never could get into it, to be honest. It was kind of disorienting for me. What did the Firepower add?

Applejack.
I don't play Indie games so much so this is the only one I can really speak on, and it's beautiful, simple, yet pretty and colourful graphics, a rather original main character and a story that instantly makes you feel his plight, an acoustic soundtrack, it's set in England (sort of) and you have the ability to throw washing machines at pandas in it.

Castle Crashers
Braid
Cave Story
World of Goo
Mount&Blade
The Behemoth is an indie company. So in turn, Castle Crashers is an indie game.

It's not what the firepower added (an SMG, a shotgun, a sniper, a melee weapon, a grenade launching pistol, and a regular pistol to the original armory of wait for it..... one assault rifle), but what it removed.

Shattered Horizon was never about the gunplay. Don't get me wrong - it was good, but that wasn't the focus. The focus was about the movement, and trying to wrap your head around 3d combat. It was awesome. There was never the question of "can I shoot this guy dead before he shoots me dead?" but rather "what's the most badass angle I can get this guy from?".

One of my favourite things about SH was the Assault Rifle. Lore-wise it was perfect - you're astronauts so it makes sense to condense the weapons required into just one gun. The weapon could snipe (not too well, as to avoid making the game a snipe fest), launch grenades (of smoke, blast, and emp variety), had a bayonet in it (these guys are wearing space suits, so this is one of the few games where this makes sense), and lastly it could... um... assault... rifle.

The firepower update killed that. Brutally. THE most saddest event in the gaming world.

Hey! "Biological Horror" is an insensitive term coined by the LES (League of Evil Scientists) to degrade and insult their creations. We prefer the term "Abominations of Nature".
