By the very fact that they are designed to shoot painful yet harmless balls of paint rather than deadly metal projectiles I define them as paintball guns, rather than guns. They may share the word guns but I never say guns to mean anything other than guns. It's really a personal 'thing' of mine and obviously a mis-communication (on my part).

OT: I'm going to jump onto the religion band-wagon. I mean, I'm sure we would/could/possibly-did create society without the aid of religious beliefs, so I don't believe it is necessary. Also, if we didn't invent religion, but there still was one/some, then they would be truereligions as we wouldn't have created them, meaning a higher being exists.

The reason I ranked Organized Religion as less terrible than Communism is because it is essentially a form of Communism.

Organized Religion has certainly done more damage to mankind as a whole than any other single "thing" that has ever existed.
