Sniper are the worst thing in that game.

I've had so many games lost because I'm the only person on my squad going for the fucking objective, everyone else thinks they're still playing MW2.

i tend to think they are effective and underused. alot of people forget they are equiped. id use them when entering a building to blind corner campers and their claymores

Just as well Black Ops has got a perk that makes them less effective eh? Some people say it makes you completely immune to them.

I actually think Stuns and Flashs are really cool and be used tactically in a number of ways.

Well, skill is also taken out of the equation when someone snipes you to the face.
Ahem. Proper marksmanship. Stealth. And making the bullet hit of course requires some serious skill. Of course, we are just hiding and pissing the general population off.

Battlefield Bad Company knows what sniping is all about. Glorified headshots.
I did not say that sniping doesn't require skill. I said that there is not much you can do when a bullet is travelling towards your pretty face. Just like with flashbangs. Using them requires skill but surviving at the receiving end requires luck. So whining about their luck-based nature is a bit silly if you ask me.

My special grenades have the habit of hitting the smallest pixel on a wall and bouncing back into my face.

I realise that they're real miliatary hardware and they work really well, but i'm not sure they work in games, chiefly because of the fact that it's such a massive playing field leveler.
I will not be a hypocrite and say Ive never raged because of being flashed or stunned but I have to say one thing. They add a level of tension to my game experience, sticking close to cover and walls hoping that I can duck behind at the sight of a flash or stun being thrown in so that I can retaliate unexpectedly to the dumbass who thinks he should just rush straight through the door after he throws one.

But I will give you one thing, stuns are bullshit in the game, they should fix it so that your character just stumbles on his feet maybe falling to his knees when stunned INSTEAD OF MOVING IN GOD DAMN SLOW MOTION. Thats what I hate about them, completely unrealistic portrayal in the game. Making it harder to aim would be a good step aswell but take out the slow motion completely.

In Metal Gear Online, you can box to avoid the effects of a stun nade. I love MGO because every tactic can be countered.

I don't see the point in this thread.
You get flashed/stunned and there is chance you will die.
You get a grenade, your dead. It takes as much skill to throw a grenade as a flash bang and grenades will kill you. So why not complain about them.
You get shot, your dead.
You get knifed by a player a good 2 meters away, your dead.

Flash bangs really arn't a problem.
Grenades kill you, But flashbangs debilitate you before you MABYE die. The annoyance comes from dying when there was essentially nothing you could do about it because you were either caught out in the open by a stun or flashed when you have no idea where the enemy is coming from etc...

Being shot definitley takes skill, and if a player got within range to knife u thats your fault... <---In both of these cases you were perfectly able to fight back, UNLIKE when you are blind or disabled.

Of all the things to rage about in CoD, flash bangs are the ones with least substance. Mainly because they are perfectly fair, do not guarantee your instant death and take sufficient skill.

So, no. Those are fine in CoD, CS or any other shooter.

Huh, it's more often that I kill the person who flash-banged* me than they kill me. Possibly because I tend to hit prone and start shooting in their direction...
I get what your saying, but now imagine you don't know where they're coming from or you get caught facing the wrong direction.... THAT'S where the rage lies, in not being able to do jack about your fate (although i realise that it doesn't always work out like that).

What I do, is if I have an LMG, spray in every possible direction, because I have lots of bullets. Same idea with shotguns, because of the spread.

If I have a different gun, I hit prone, throw my own flash-bang and take the oppurtunity to reload, because there's not much else I can do.

uh no? first off usually it has to land right in front of you to truly blind you, otherwise it just shakes the screen a bit white, and its a good way to get the drop on sniper/shotty douchers who camp in the same room/area, i have yet to see anyone complain about them besides you OP, there are tons and tons of different combinations that are way worse in that game than "flashbangs and stuns"
