I agree with you entirely there, just pointing out that naming grounds in such a way isn't exclusive to MCFC. I'd much rather it remained The City of Manchester Stadium. It may be a bit drab as you say, but at least it does what is says on the tin. As far as City fans being from Manchester and Utd. fans being from elsewhere goes, who gives a fuck. Truth of the matter is that both clubs have fans from Manchester. Yes Utd. have a massive amount of foreign fans and fans from other parts of the UK as they're a damn successful club and attract support from people whose local clubs are not as good.
Although City are going the same way now, lots idiots who have no idea about the history of the club. Go on the Clubs FB page and its full of Arab kids asking retarded questions or other people whinging about how the new away shirt is an AC Milan copy and stuff like that. Very annoying.

I'm American, and I love footy. I can't watch American football. It just seems like a rugby ripoff.

I'm more of an (american) football fan, but thats cause I'm good at it. But I'm even more of a Hockey fan, and thats cause i'm REALLY good at it. But I'm also an avid gamer. So I'd say the combining interests of Hockey/(American) Football/Videogames makes it more rare then Soccer/Videogames.

I'm a big fan of both football and gaming, it doesn't seem the uncommon.
My team is Dundee United in the SPL which gets an undeserved bad reputation, but I like to follow football more generally as well, especially the EPL, but I don't particularly have a favourite team (my mate is a Wolves fan though so I like to see them do well)

Yep, Blue Square unfortunately, was Championship a few seasons ago (thanks bad management and people screwing the club over!) My housemate knew nothing about football except for what he hears from other football haters. Hopefully back in the league this season!The Gatherer said:

Couldn't care less about Parker, our midfield is strong as it is.
What we need is another quality defender to cover for old man Gallas and provide more diversity, and someone who can really support Pav and score goals. Then again, hoping Van der Vaart maintains his start of season form, if we get another striker in that can suit him well, I think we have a great chance of scoring loads of goals.
As far as Modric is concerned...mmh, I hope Levy is as serious about keeping him as I hope he is and as much as he makes out he is.
I seriously doubt Bale's going this summer; I heard on the grape vine that Barca are lining up a £45million bid for him next summer, if he maintains his form.
