I like to swap around cause I find that smoking one brand for too long makes it lose it's taste.

For rollies I go for either Golden Virginia or Drum Gold, and for straights I tend to have menthols, usually Mayfair or Richmond. However when I can afford it I do love a pack of Marlboro menthols. Best cig out there.

I smoke Lucky Strike Silver although Lucky Stike is apparently (and slightly ironically) being struck from the market, so I have to get a fix elsewhere.

Also, stop complaining about the price! Here, almost all packaged cigarettes are over eight quid! It's enough to drive a man to quit, perish the thought.

I never complained about the price and they're 08.50 over here in Ireland.

Haha, I never spent a dollar on cigs. I usually bum off of people.

Also I like how you refer to quit as in im addicted. I probably smoke 1 or 2 cigs every two weeks. Perhaps I should have put more of an emphasis on occasionally.

Hooka is my preferred choice of tobacco delivery. Its a good common activity for you and a bunch of friends to gather around and talk about shit for a while. plus if you have one with an ice chamber its the smoothest smoke you will ever have. Although i hate cigarettes I will smoke a cheap black and mild cigar if I've had a particularly stressful day.

I maintain that the anti smoking campaign would have been far more effective had those stupid dicks doing the presentations not been trying so hard to get us not to smoke.

In fact, I think if those terribly charisma-less fools tried to convince us of the opposite; that smoking was cool, their campaign would have met with more success.

I smoke Marlboro Red 100's or Kamel Reds if I can find them. Used to also buy French Blend Dreams (Belgian import) before the (completely effing ridiculous) flavored cig ban. After taxes cigs are $9+ where I live.

I'm 21, started smoking about 4 years ago, freshman year of college. There was a while where I smoked almost a pack a day, but without even meaning to, I've gone down to about a pack every two weeks. Though I love the social aspect of smoking, and I'll still down a pack in a day if I'm with fellow smokers.

Alright, after reading through the last page or so, it seems that cigarettes are really odd in the US, I mean, in the UK they're pretty much all the same. King size is standard, you can get superking, all cigarettes come with a filter and the section of the cigarette with the filter in is brown and speckled with lighter brown. From what I understand, not all US cigarettes come with filters? Is it less standardized over there?

Menthol is essentially a normal cigarette that's supposed to taste all minty and nice, like menthol chewing gum, but realistically just tastes terrible. People use them to quit because they don't taste like normal cigarettes but still give the nicotine.

Just some rage: you may have heard that in Aus (ie, where i live) they raised tax on cigs by 25%, which is total bullshit. And also, in my town they are putting in laws where you cant smoke within 70m of the malls and arcades, which essencially cuts off a good portion of the main street. Its all bullshit. $14.40 for a 25 pack, what. the. fuck. Several of my friends have switched to roll your own cause its ALOT cheaper, like $30~ for 50g, which is still like, $20 more than what it should be.

I can get SO MANY more out of a 12.5 gram pouch of golden virginia than I can from a pack of 20 cigarettes. Maybe 40 to 50 cigarettes, for half the price and a tenth of the toxins.
