Seriously. Misrepresentation of the distances in space constantly plague what would otherwise be truly great science fiction novels/films. This annoys me quite a bit. Maybe I'm just being picky, but still.

The rhyme does not orginate from the film, but rather that is a tradional English rhyme which has been around, of course, since Guy Fawkes tried to blow up parliment.
