Hold this graphics card?

If not, can you please point me to a card of comparable quality that this motherboard can hold?

Can the motherboard support it? Yes.

Can an HP Micro ATX form factor case fit it? Probably, but maybe not.

I will make the fucker fit, believe me. That was really my other concern, regarding the case case size. It'll be tight, but I think it won't blow out on me.

Also keep this in mind: the mother board is a little over 9 inches long. The video card is 8 1/2 inches long. It's going to completely bisect the case and royally screw with air flow. Keep an eye on your temperature when you first install that thing.

Very noted. How do you recommend keeping track? Or will my feet be able to tell when things get cooking?

Dude, just buy a bigger case and transplant the PC into it. The airflow will improve, and it probably won't look like arse.

Nice graphics card choice by the way.

Please point me towards a relatively cheap case that you'd recommend, then. Also, thanks. It's Duke Nukem Approved.

You can find a cheap case online, but shipping hits you for it. Your better off looking at a local PC supply place, given that you can get a very cheap old case.

If all else fails for air flow, you can always cut the case and install another fan or two, or just air intakes. Cut, add mesh, done.

Well I'd personally recommend
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=25_31&products_id=14105

$79.00 AUD

Paired with:

http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=15_220&products_id=14857

$89.00 AUD

Because getting the card in there is only half the battle. You've gotta be able to power that beast. I think the recommendation is a minimum 550Watts for your card.

Both of the items above cost less than 200 dollars combined in Australia, I imagine U.S. pricing would be about the same if not less.

Would do. 35 bones with shipping and likely about what you need.

Well you see, I'm not looking to blow all my money on one upgrade. Trying to keep it below or equal to $300. With the card and the power supply that I found for myself, I'm already $238.95. I don't need anything fancy, just a case that can hold my stuff without dieing of heat stroke.

Like others have said, there's a high chance that your current PSU (Power Supply Unit) won't accept the new card. This along side the case's size and you can see the problem. Upgrading pre-built computers is almost always a bad idea, since you end up having to replace most of the parts. I'd strongly recommend getting a case, but your budget restricts us quite a bit. At least make sure it's a mid-tower. It's almost a guaranteed fit. They usually do include measurements if you do buy online. You can also browse any local shops and avoid shipping.

I use the Antec 902: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129097

It has air filters, which is what I love the most about it. But, you must consider price, so shop around, and feel free to ask the techies what they think of .

All right. A friend of mine recommended the case. This all I need?
