For me, mostly get a glass of Diet Coke and either play games, go on the net, chat to people, write, read a book, or all of the above.

... Men can multitask too, I just... do it badly... >.>

Food, waste time on the internet (YouTube, Escapist, Rock Paper Shotgun, webcomics, Reddit) and then play a game - lately it's been The Secret World.

I work nights, when I get home it seems as if the whole world is asleep. Everything interesting is closed. State law ends the sale of alcohol at 2 a.m. so can't even go to a bar. So I start w/a shower, then its pretty much one of the following: food, movie, t.v., video game(s), book, code, synth, guitar, or escapist/youtube/facebook. Always followed by sleep. Then its time to wake up and do it all again. Anything else would take up too much time anyhow, and i only have so much time available on a work night.

It depends - sometimes I'm home at 6pm sometimes I'm home at midnight. If I get home before or around 8pm I'll eat something and then either read a book or play games for a while. But now that it's been mentioned quite a few times now music sounds like a good idea. If I'm home any later than that I'll just eat something and catch up on a video or two. It makes me kind of sad because it's really just eating, sleeping, reading, games and occasionally hanging with friends outside of work... huh.

Sometime I even comment on forums.

Have dinner, really. When I eventually end up at home is a great time for dinner. So, I have that, derp around the internet for an hour, then go for a walk. As you can tell, I am the most exciting man in the whole world.

Jesus, when I get home from work the real work begins. Feed kids, wash kids, put kids to bed. Those sound like simple tasks don't they? They aren't.

Anyway, after the kids are asleep, sometime between 7.30 and 10.30 depending on how stubborn they are being, it's time to clean the kitchen and then, after the dishes are done and put away, the table has been wiped down, and the floor swept, I can start to relax. My wife and I will usually watch some television for an hour or two before she goes to sleep exhausted. I usually take an extra hour or so to wind down so I'll play some c-c-c-c-computer games and then sleep.

I get home around 16:30 most days, chat with my roommate for about 30 minutes. Boot up the computer, check Esc, FB, Email, Cracked and possibly a few other sites. After that it's either time to start cooking dinner or playing games.

All of that while listening to music btw, but that's so much of a given for me that it doesn't even register as an activity anymore.

Teaching wears me out a lot as I'm an introvert pretending to not be one. I've been making myself go running or play piano right after work. I feel the pull of watching youtube and browsing forums but I have been trying to fight that. Passive entertainment irks me and leaves me feeling empty (well playing games tends to give me that same feeling). Problem is that while I can force myself to go running, piano requires me to be rather alert. Thanks to upcoming surgery, I can't go running for 2 months.

Get home at 7pm.

1 hour cooking and eating dinner - 8pm
1 hour doing coursework for my foundation degree - 9pm
1 hour 20 working out in my living room - 10:20pm
1 hour cooking next day's breakfast/lunch - 11:20pm
40 mins of doing whatever I want! Usually showering, then about 20 mins on the net.

Bed!

Repeat

God, and to think I used to spend 12 hours a day playing games...truly, the golden age has passed...

When you get home, what do you do to unwind immediately?

If I can't get over to my friends for gaming I generally start listening to music, lie down on my bed and flip open the Escapist.

How do you relax after going out and making money?
Nothing. After work I operate my business. To make even more money. So that in 5 years I won't have to work no more >:)

I get home, go internetting (that should be a word), then sleep.

Immediately after work, my boyfriend and I generally tell each other about our day (usually while getting dinner ready). If he's not at home, I tend to get myself some food, then play a little bit of something not-too-taxing (PixelJunk Eden at the moment).

I work either 6-14 or 1345-2115 so if it is the earlier shift then I go to the gym or training and after that (just as captcha suggests) I put on RadioRock to listen to some Heavy Metal. Of course some gaming or the beach is also a nice thing but hitting the gym is the best :)

If it is as today and I work the later shift I just came back from a 9km run and now will unwind with either some LeagueOfLegends or MonsterHunterTri combined with Radio station named above. And when I get home maybe some gaming or a Pint with a few friends and then to sleep.

Either take the bairn for a walk, or swimming if its a Thursday, or go to the gym.

Have a protein shake, some dinner, xbox, play with son, get son to sleep, play some more xbox, go to sleep.

There needs to be more hours in the day for me...

Grab some food, maybe watch some TV, lament the fact that there's never anything good on at around midnight then game into the early hours.
