A gaming pc: the money I currently have will only go towards one of two things a xbox 360 or some new ps3 games never will a buy a personal computer just for gaming I have always preferred game console pads and despise using mouse and key bored not to mention it would be cheaper for me to get a 360.( and I im not a fan of the orange box *shock horror*)
2. The wii: its a good little system but its not what I want.
3. Games: As you can see from the games I pointed out there I really am a mainstream gamer ( and one of the few that will admit it) games such as braid may be fun but like the wii not what im looking for, this does not mean I wont get them or try them but I am not going to by a console for it and also yes online play will be a big reason for me getting a 360 i have good amount of people I know who are on my PSN friend list but there are also a lot of people I know who have 360s

I have games console A I am thinking of buying games console B but wonder if B will entertain me enough to be worth my money. For those of you that have both A and B was buying the second one worth it or do you now ignore either A or B.

If you have the money, get both. Both the ps3 and 360 are used by me about the same and constantly. The 360 has crapped out on me twice since buying it a year and a half ago, but with the extended warranty, it isn't a huge idea. Really, especially for the games you want, it's worth it. You just overdose on how many games you want to get when you broaden your number of consoles.
I use both my 360 and PS3; sometimes my girlfriend wants to watch tv, and so I can totter off to go play another game elsewhere.
In addition, it gives me more options to pick up games cheaply, as I almost always buy them used.

I use a ps3 and the PC rather then a second console, the things i can do with these 2 that are fun then i think i could do with the 3
PS3/360 harmonize surprisingly well. I got the Wii but I didn't like the games while PS3 also has whizzy bangy FPSes.
