For those that played Skyrim, I salute you. And ask you a question.

Simple straightforward question.

In the trailer, we see our hero do a dragon-shout.
Right after the narrator does his "But there is one they fear" line.

All I want to know is, does that thing he shouts, actually happen during gameplay.
I don't mean the magic ripple. I mean the voice.
The words.
Do you actually verbally shout different words like in the trailer.
Cause I FREAKING love the way it sounds in the trailer.

I haven't played it yet, but I think that each shout has 3 words linked to it, which you have to unlock and each word increasing the power and overall usefulness of the shout. Also, when you activate the shout, your character will say each of the words you have unlocked with that particular shout.

Yes, your character actually shouts out the words of the shout yes.

Gives you the chills doesn't it?
The first trailer still blows me away.

p.s. I am pretty sure it was said in some gameplay demo. The 1 hour one?

From the preview videos I've watched, I would say I'm 90% certain that: YES, your character actually does do a audible 'shout'.
Which, I agree, is freaking AWESOME.

I can't WAIT to get this game. I feel so bad for Forza 4, because I love that game too, but it's going to gather dust once Skyrim gets into my Xbox.

Also, watch the gameplay trailer, he/she does scream, that's the point.

I may be wrong, but I think I read somewhere that you can choose how your character sounds from a selection of samples, grunts, sounds of exertion etc.

Yes, your character verbally shouts when using those abilities.

No, it doesn't sound anywhere near as good as it did in the trailer.
