I'm going with the flow and say 360, and I don't really need to regurgitate all the reasons that have been mentioned. Although, I am amused at Indigo's comment, that PS3 people are nicer, when the thread has mostly been going "yep, 360 cos it feels nice" and leaving it at that while we've got a pair doggedly defending the PS3 and indigo actually insulting people who think XBL is better...

I'm the one insulting people for the most part, Just no one cares as much when I insult them. >.>

Anyways, Am I the only one that feels the 360 controller is unresponsive?

Pretty much.

Oh, and Live and the Psn are equal on all levels except for two extra content (that you still have to pay for, the 360 has slightly more, or at least claims to, the GTAIV stuff still isn't out) and quality of the experience. Ps3 gamers are usually more veteran gamers, and are more likely to cooperate or play fair, depending on the situation. they also cannot swear at you or insult you, due to Sonys policy on booting people who display that sort of antisocial behaviour repeatedly (You can say "FUCK!" when you get killed, but if you are doing it nonstop to enemies, guess what? You're an asshole, and you're gone).

Once again, don't believe Microsofts Bullshit. If you believe you get what you pay for, then you pay for your stupidity from believing that statement.
Exact reason I don't care much for Live.

I feel left out, Everytime I pick up the controller I want to use it as a weapon instead. Driving on GTA IV with it almost lose me a finger.

Side-stepping what the messy situation in this thread, I'm going to admit I don't have both consoles. Think of my advice as you will.

Frankly, don't worry about graphics and content- both consoles will have the game in all its glory, so you won't be short-changed by buying one version instead of the other.

The real question lies in your console of preference. If you have more friends online on one platform, or feel one of the platform's controller is better suited for you, buy it on that console. Simple as that.

As for timmy's question (I presume) about the Xbox 360 controller's responsiveness, I say that I think the Xbox controller is responsive enough for me. What I think isn't responsive is Six-Axis, but I haven't had enough time with the controller for my opinion to really sway people.

I have a ps3 but the lung cancer means I probably won't live long enough to install the game.

360 version for me.

Right. Getting back to the topic....

You would be wise to find out more about the features of the game, and the control scheme before making any decisions. Who knows, the game might require that Microsoft Remote thingy to work.

And while we're talking about Force Unleashed, is anyone but me noticing a gaping plot hole in what information we've been told? Starkiller (I see he is from the same culture that came up with the name General Grievous) is supposedly the son of a Jedi who Darth Vader killed. But aren't Jedi forbidden from having children? And Luke and Leia were the only examples of it?
Jedis do it quite a few times, They just arn't jedis after. Did you not play KOTOR man! Cause if you didn't i'm coming down to Australia to pop you upside the head for not playing some of the greatest star wars games of all time.

Since i don't plan on touching my PS3 until Resistance 2 and then not touch it again until God of War 3, and since my brother dosn't like me touching the PS3, I will get it for my 360.

This might sound like blasphemy on a nerd site, but I haven't even seen the original movies. I'm simply attracted by lightning and force powers, and as this is coming out before inFAMOUS, it'll serve as a substitute.
Who are you calling a nerd?!!? Wait till I get my Lazoraxe of Doom-pocalypse +12 out, then you´ll regret those words! After defending the honour of the site and restoring justice and stuff I should probably get back to the thread´s actual topic...

I´m not even sure wether I´ll get the game at all, I´m not really perfectly informed about the game right now (any information from your side would be much appreciated), so I´ll just wait and see. If I get it, I´ll get it for the 360 as I have no PS3.

/offtopic - after order 66, Jedi either perished/hid/joined the dark side or renounced the order returning to a normal life. wiki it, its there. that aside unsure about the gapping plothole of shaak ti dying in episode 3 (deleted scenes) and then being a mentour in FU? (unless of course it was deleted for a reason or just a coincidence).

/ontopic - visually there is little difference to be expected as the pace of the game you wouldn't generally notice anything huge, as for online play this is if you even go online it comes down to either having some fun or having competition to play against, slaughtering vets on ps3 is fun, for awhile but if you have a competitive edge then the 360 version may be more viable just hit mute when things get unbareable. the controller also has a slight impact, but if you prefer 360 may as well go with it.

that aside anybody know exactly when the demo is coming out? i heard its this month but when =/

The real answer to your question isn't all that good, but I'll tell you:

When Star Wars originally came out, Lucas was all like, "Man... reading Dune was so hard. I want to make a version that's easier to follow," and he did. Then millions of other people jumped in and built the expanded universe, making his uncomplicated world far more complex than the source material.

Then Lucas made episodes 1, 2, and 3 and de-cannonized a whole bunch of the EU (which, incidentally, was far better than the stuff he wrote). Jedi were not forbidden to have children or anything else. They were patterned after the Kwisatch Haderach, the Bene Gesserit to a lesser extent, and had a bit of Tao thrown in for fun. They had to keep their feelings in control, but they didn't have to completely cut them all off. The new episodes.... changed that. Maybe. When I watch them, I pretend that they only told Anikan that Jedi couldn't have kids because they knew his emotions were nothing like in control.

No, I'm also in that boat, I hate the 360 controller because of that.

Not the only reason I don't like it either but that's my "number 1" - besides I'm surprised we started a "controller war" seeing as that controllers are purely a matter of preference.

Also, we have all contributed to the console war and disobeyed the topic creators orders, and this thread is....still here? Huh?

Either way from what I see, everyone is saying "They are the frikin' same, just flip a coin!"

Well since it's part of the deleted scenes it cannot be considered canon, now can it?
