Forced to change Gamertagp...

So Microsoft decided to force me to change my Gamertag, without telling me they would do so. So now I have to pay 10 bucks to change it from Big Joey (numbers numbers numbers). I'm not here to complain about that, the name was pretty bad.

What I want to Know is if my new name DonSexo, is likely to get reported too. I really don't feel like dropping another 10 bucks on this.

One method people would do all the time when I was on Xbox Live was to get massive amounts of people to report the Gamertag as inappropriate, which forced Microsoft's name changer to be done for free. I think with the newer consoles you can't do that, and I still find it dumb that you have to pay a lot of money just to change your Gamer Tag. >.>

As for the new name, there is a chance it'll get reported due to it having the word "sex" in it because all 3 systems have very dumb naming restrictions. That said, it'd only be if people reported it that you'd get in trouble I say, because on the rare occasions I see friend Gamer Tags, they still have things that can be considered "inappropriate" in them.

Yeah, I heard about that too. Those days are gone now though. I can get it through the restrictions and it isn't taken. The problem is if people will report it. I didn't think anyone ever actually did that so that shows how good I am at predicting what people will do. We're playing a game where the only actions possible to take are directly aimed at murdering fellow human beings in close bloody combat and "TheDickbone" is too offensive for someone (or several someones). Its absurd on the face of it, but not surprising.

Maybe I'm being naive, but what exactly is wrong with "Big Joey"? It certainly sounds like it could be dirty but then so could "Big anything", apart from a character on Friends and baby kangaroos I'm not aware of any other meanings. A quick google seems to suggest it might be connected with a mobster (who I'd never heard of before) Joseph Massino, but surely calling yourself "AlCapone" wouldn't be enough to get you banned, can it?

It's on the level of running into a room and yelling "penis!". It's just not classy and it certainly isn't funny or interesting. It's contributing to the crass gaming background noise that I dislike. And it's against the terms of service as I understand them, so I get to make the thing I don't like go away!

Its not a dick joke, its a reference to a friend of a friend who honestly believed that there was a bone inside your dick that made you hard. He was a good guy though, it makes me chuckle every time I think about it. Not that you'd know any of that.

Plus the alternating hard and soft consonants, Dick -hard, Bone -Soft, coupled with the rising and falling of the inflection/ mouth movement, Dick (up and back) bone (down and forward) are phonetically pleasing. Seriously, try saying it out loud a few times.
