Only Ireland and Scotland itself. Thats where my family roots are, and I'd protect those places should the need arise. Couldn't care less about the rest on England.
It's nice to know the English are still seen as Imperial invading blood-sucking puppy-killing Sassenach.
Damn straight. I don't mean it to any Englishman here. Just, not to fond of the country.

Apologies, it's just I've spent a lot of time in Scotland lately with my dad's side of the family and I get treated like I've come straight out of Germany to destroy their Celtic culture.

I'd like to say that I wouldnt fight for countries, but the people in them, but that seems a bit unneccessary, I think that's what most people mean by their choices anyway.

I can't really choose a country to die for. It's really hard to say. I'd die for certain people, though.

I would gladly die for my country, unfortunately it's more likely that my country would kill me. To clarify, I'm white and from Zimbabwe. We're not exactly popular.
Dying for another country? Doubtful, since I'm uncomfortable with international meddling.

TB lives and works in the UK. He was just in Sweden for Dreamhack, a four-day event.

The only country I'll ever fight for is not my own. Our fair cousins across the Atlantic deserve that honor for giving us the beautiful game of football.
I'm assuming you're talking about proper football, in which case your welcome. Now you just need to turn some obsessive fans into hooligans, and you get free after match entertainment!

Assuming the steryotypes are true, Sweden. For hot blonde, blue eyed women, chaaaaarge.

Canada, its a commonwealth country so I assume we would anyway, but I like them. Apparently while the UK lost manners, they kept thiers, so I like them.

Ireland, sure lots of them wouldnt want British help (I assume) but they have been allies for a long time, so yeah.

Maybe Japan, apparently they are xenophobic and want to keep immigrants out of thier country. I like them for that. I am well aware of the irony.

I think I'm with alot of other people in this thread that I would fight more for ideals than for a country. I think most people in the UK nowadays see the USA as a 'brother' almost. I respect a lot of their ideals and they produce a lot of things that make me happy so I would probably fight for them if any.

The British also have the propensity to kick off when anyone threatens a small country. We are suckers for the underdog.
We should stop that, sorry but its not our job to play world police, you will just endup weakening yourself defending others, who wont help you.

bwahaha that image is awesome love the monocle, but yeah I never said it was a positive thing but we do tend to have a weakness in that regard ><

1. No country is worth giving my one life for. No one is worth my life. Period.
No one?
So if you loved someone unconditionally, and you would never want to see them hurt, you wouldn't give your life to save theirs? You would just let them die?
