To forget it exists. Before the procedure, I'd write myself a letter demanding that I never look up the game.PhiMed said:To play it again, or to forget it exists?Nieroshai said:Dante's Inferno. If you ask me why, prepare for a wall-o-text.
This is supposed to be about games you want to forget so you can play again. IE you don't know the story so you get more out of it.Nieroshai said:To forget it exists. I understand where that is coming from, but imagine a mystery game like L.A. Noir or Heavy Rain. The fun that comes from searching for evidence or uncovering the mystery is gone after the first play through (unless you mess up royally in Heavy Rain and fail to solve the mystery). To me it would be boring to play those games again when you know who the murder is and where they hid the evidence and who betrays who or whatever. Imagine being able to experience the wonder of uncovering those mysteries without having to wait for and buy the sequel or wait for DLC.Farther than stars said:I wouldn't forget any. I like to think that all the experiences I gain are completely unique and define from the first moment how I'm going to view them for the rest of my life. Sure, I've had a ton of great experiences, but re-experiencing them just for the sake of, well, that seems shallow to me. I'd rather go on to try out new experiences.
That's just my personal outlook on things. I'm sorry that I'm not much more help here.
I agree, the first time I played Bioshock it was amazing...especially when everything clicked towards the end.Alphakirby said:Bioshock 1,because without the twist the game loses some of the steam it usually has.
Ya know.. I never thought about that.. and as much as I hate WoW now, I have to agree. If I could go back to day one, brand new game, not knowing how awful the community is, not having done every quest a dozen times over, and not knowing how much shittier it has become since I started back in 04, I would find some enjoyment in it. Well, that, or I would hate the game purely on its own merits rather than my history with it to.Rayne870 said:WoW to be honest, I had a lot of fun up until raiding, and everything felt new, exploration was amazing and up until all the drama from building a raid guild over the past two and a half years I had a lot of fun just thinking that battleground (welfare epics) were awesome.
