Forgot the name of a game

Hello, i'm just wondering if anyone could help me in telling me what game i'm thinking of, i remember that you can be like a creature thing and you had to kill others, you were able to summon other minion like creatures which follow you around and help kill with, the creature you controlled could also cast spells, there were several types of creatures you could be if i remember correctly, there was this fire one who could summon a volcano as a spell and this earth type one who could do earthquakes and barrages of rocks at the enemy and several other types of creatures, i know its not much to go on but if anyone could help i would be much appreciated thanks.

Though i know its not, it sounds a bit like Magic Carpet 1 or 2. But they didn't let you summon others or be others. However the spells sound similar but your character could cast volcanoes, earthquakes, lightning and loads more. You could also cast "drones" or "demonbees" to help you defeat the other players.

Can this be a general "what the hell was that game called?!" thread? 'cause I've got one that has been bothering me for some time.

There was this game on the PC a loooong time ago where you were a robot (i think) who had to get to the bridge of a ship for some reason or other. It was sort of a point-and-click adventure and there was a randomly moving robot that would kill you if it found you. I'm just going off of memories that I vaguely remember of watching my dad play it when I was a wee child.

it was like a fantasy game kind of strategy to but it isnt birds eye view, your like a demon creature, it wasnt overlord, its in 3rd person and you dont change into anything you just use spells and you like summon creatures to help you kill the enemy.

its similar to that yeah but instead of that character your controlling in sacrifice you can choose out of several type of demon creature things which are of different elements like fire, water, earth etc... each with their own set of creatures they can spawn and each with their own sets of spells

I tried to google some of your descriptions but I found a lot of random stuff.. Like the Gothic series? I don't think that's it but, according to reviews, it's the "best rpg of all time"?

I think your right it is Sacrifice, thank you very much for the help i just bought it off steam cos it looked good and after playing it for a while ive just realised it is the game i was thinking of lol so thanks ^^

it was a fighting game but you had to fight in a floating cube and you could fly around and beat your opponent
